Default What should I pay for a 2014 1LT?

Hello all,

I'm looking at buying a black 2014 corvette this weekend. It's a base model 1LT with chrome wheels. It has 22,000 miles on it. What do you think the maximum I should pay is?

Thanks for the input. I saw a base C7 for sale in Atlanta for $43K the other day. It had 12,000 miles on it. Didn't happen to be your dealership did it?

The wheels were A $2,000 option. The car is going on 3 years with 22,000 miles.I would say $42K-46K tops.New with the wheels MSRP 56K.

Lol I agree. I hate chrome on cars. People actually pay extra for chrome wheels? Do they come in a package or were they a standalone option? Also wondering if NPP exhaust only comes with the ZL1 package or if you can get it as a standalone option on a completely base C7

To me its hard to justify paying $45,000.00 for a 2-3 year old Vette when you can buy a new Vette at Kerbecks for $49,997.00. 22,000 miles vs 000000 miles.

When do you think the prices of these cars is really going to drop? 3 year old cars selling for only $4k less than a new one isn't anything great (for me that is. Good for those of you that already own one)

Patience. The C7 is A popular model for the Corvette. Many of us it's our 1st Vette. And me especially I'm so amazed every time I climb in it.I like to
Pretend I'm A pilot in A fighter jet, lol. So for that people don't want to let their jet go at low prices.Maybe A few others believe this also that it's the
Best car they've ever owned. So that's why I say patience.I will get rid of
My 1LT as soon as I see A Z06 at 60K.I want A more powerful jet.

In 2014 you could as I and many other people did. I do not know if you can still get it that way, as they limited some of the options on the base car in 2015.

I don't know if the car the OP is looking at is an auto or 7 speed, however as long as Chevrolet keeps raising its pricing it's going to hold up used prices to some degree.

Its super easy to say its only $6,000 more or if this car in question is an auto $9,500 more for a like car (1LT, Auto, chrome wheels). That's a lot of money for some people. Its a difference in payment of approx. $120-$200. Then the difference in sales tax between the $44,000 car and $53,500 car is depending on the state another $600 +/-.

A 1LT, auto transmission, chrome wheels has a MSRP of $60,000, so thats more like $53,500 give or take with the discounts.

To the original poster if that's your budget and the car checks out its not a bad deal. I'd prefer the miles to be under 15,000 but again if that's your budget then do what your comfortable with. Just have the car checked out by someone that knows Corvette's. Do not rely solely on a Carfax or Autocheck.
