Default 2014 Lingenfelter 417CID 650HP

I have decided to sell my personal Corvette. Here is a story of car’s history since new:

Originally Ken Lingenfelter’s personal car. Produced 9/11/2013. Sold New 9/24/2013. Used to develop Lingenfelter’s naturally aspirated C7 engine packages. It was also their show vehicle displayed at many special events including SEMA 2013. Also featured in Vette Magazine. Here is a link to the article:

http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/eng...r-c7-corvette/

http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/eng...r-c7-corvette/

Purchased by me from Lingenfelter in June of 2015 with 1,175 miles. I took delivery of the car from Ken Lingenfelter at the Lingenfelter Collection in Brighton, MI and drove the car home.

At the time the car was equipped with their 550 HP naturally aspirated engine package.

During last winter I sent the car back to Lingenfelter to have their naturally aspirated 417 cubic inch engine conversion completed. Here is a summary of their package:

http://http://www.lingenfelter.com/p...l#.V8Dyjo-cGM8

http://www.lingenfelter.com/product/...l#.V70CuI-cGM8

The package was completed March 7, 2016 with 4,441 miles. For this conversion the new slightly more aggressive GT32 camshaft was chosen. In addition, the newly available MSD Atomic Intake was also used. The results were 667 HP and 606 TQ on the engine dyno. Slightly higher peak HP and much more overall TQ than their 660HP LS7 Z06 naturally aspirated package. The car produced 581 HP and 530 TQ at the rear wheels on their chassis dyno. Photos of this car are shown on their website.

In addition to the 650HP 417 engine conversion the car also had the following installed by Lingenfelter:

Kooks Headers w/ High Flow Cats $2000
Corsa Performance Mufflers $1750
MSD Atomic Airforce Intake $1250
Halltech Carbon Fiber Air Intake $1350
Dewitt’s Aluminum Radiator $900
ATI Harmonic Dampener $400
Tick Performance Remote Clutch Bleeder $100
Carbon Fiber Coil Covers $1000
ACS Satin Black Front Splitter & Side Skirts $1550
ACS Grille $1000
Total $11,300 Plus Installation

In addition to the performance modifications I also installed the following cosmetic and protection items:

Xpel Clear Bra on Front Bumper, Headlamps,
Mirrors, Rocker Panels and Rear Bumper Sides $1300
GM Splash Guards $150
GM Carbon Flash Metallic Badges $135
Rimblades Red Wheel Trim $100
Total $1,685

I also added a Flex Fuel sensor to the fuel system to recognize higher ethanol content fuels. This allows the car to run on anything from 91 octane fuel all the way to E85. The flex fuel tables within the car computer were enabled to recognize the higher ethanol content and add an additional 1 degree of ignition timing. This added an additional 51HP and 31 TQ at the rear wheels on Excessive Autosports Dyno in Sioux Falls, SD

Flex Fuel Conversion $1000

This is in addition to the Lingenfelter Conversion cost:

Lingenfelter 417 CID 650HP Package $17,895

In short there is close $32,000 in upgrades completed. Not including labor of the additional parts beyond the Lingenfelter 417 CID Conversion.

The car has consistently run 150 MPH in ½ mile shoot outs this summer at the Big Blue Mile and Sand Hills Open Road Challenge events in Nebraska into a 20-30MPH headwind. To put this into perspective there was another C7 Z06 that ran just under 143MPH in the ½ mile at the same event. There also were several C7 Z06 car that ran in the mid 150’s to just over 160MPH in the 1 mile at the same event.

It has also consistently run just under 97 MPH in the 1/8 mile at the Sturgis drag ways at this summer’s Black Hills Corvette Classic.

The car is fully loaded with every option except Competition Seats.
Stingray Coupe Z51
7 Speed Manual w/ Active Rev Match
3LT Interior
Exposed Carbon Fiber Roof Panel
Magnetic Ride Control w/ PTM
Dual Mode Performance Exhaust
Carbon Fiber Interior Trim
Sueded Microfiber Upper Interior Trim
Red Brake Calipers
Black Wheels
Personalized Interior Plaque – Specially Made for Ken Lingenfelter
Battery Protection Package

This is a fully sorted remarkable car. It is very powerful and runs exceptionally well. It will out run and embarrass stock Z06’s and will not overheat and suffer from heat soak on the track. It would take several months and well over $32,000 to duplicate this car not including the car itself. The car is fully detailed and ready to win its next race or car show. It in fact still smells new inside.

It is owned by me personally and is stored inside my garage in Sioux Falls, SD.

Current mileage is approximately 8,700 miles

Priced at $65,997

That's a bad *** C7 right there. And with the mods and Lingenfelter history a great buy. Good luck man!

Here's my 1/2 mile run from this year's Sand Hills Open Road Challenge in Arnold, NE. This is on a black top county 2 lane road. This year we were running into a good headwind and speeds seemed to be down. Despite this the car still ran 150.5 MPH in the 1/2 mile.

Just curious to know the reason behind selling this awesome car? Did it get boring or a better project came along? Thx.
