Ever heard of a 'Courtesy Delivery'?
For a set fee usually around $400 a selling dealer can have a car shipped to another out-of- state dealer for delivery to customer.
A receiving dealer agreeing to do a CD will state what they charge.

Drop an email to any of our forum sponsors selling Corvettes, there're several excellent choices. Might try several.
Negotiate price & explain part of deal includes a CD.
Let the selling dealer work out the details, like who to send it to etc.
You pay any applicable tax when registering @ AZ DMV.

It's easy to buy from anywhere in the U.S. and have the car shipped. Don't let a few states over kill your search. A lot of big dealers on East Coast that have deals.

I bought mine from Jake at Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale. Super easy deal. I had GM Employee but he advertises on the forum all the time with discounts etc. Give him a call.

Use Edmunds, TrueCar or one of the other online sites to spec out the car you want. Send it to several local dealers. See what they come up with and make sure they can actually get an allocation. If their prices are not competitive with the big east coast dealers, have it shipped to you or if one of the local dealers will do it, set up a Courtesy Delivery. I tried to buy local but none could get an immediate allocation so I went with Mike Furman at Criswell. He is a straight shooter and his pricing is competitive.

i just placed an order with Jake last week, very easy process and straight forward guy. Gave me the going discount that are being posted by the major forum sponsor dealerships and will get the appropriate rebates when the car arrives in December.
