I'll take the great advice offered here, which I appreciate very much...but if I can't get 85K I'll keep it and pull some hard saved 401K money. I've been a 12% saving warrior for many years.

I folded down the rear seats in my 2013 Malibu and I make Corvette sounds in my 4 cylinder - 2 seater.

Timmy, Did you miss that part where I said that I was just saying what I heard? No, I've never driven a Z06 and have logged only a half mile in a GS. Have your fun!

Makes you wonder about a guy that's only been on there since October and wanted to sell a car and his name is $25 Mike.

What are you wondering? I won a car on Oct. 2nd. I came here for advice. I've been married for 36 years and have 4 Grandkids. I have been employed since I was 14. Cool cartoon BTW.

If it was manual tranny it';d be on my hot list. However, to me it's nothing more than another used Corvette. I can't give it a penny value for someone signing it or pay any extra.

Honestly for the seller it's 100 percent profit less taxes paid but personally I'd keep it.

Only 57 years old but not in good health. Not sure what I would do with it. It appears to be a cool car with lots of options. Eminitrader, you just need to go buy a new one with a 7 speed. Peace out all.

I had a cool Big Block Olds Holiday 88. A couple of '63 Impalas with 283's. A '72 Nova with a 350 , a '63 LeSabre that used a quart of oil per 30 miles. "69 Chevelle that I was always working on. I have payments on the Chevy's that we drive now.

I miss the old days....not.

Mike,
As others have mentioned keep it if you can afford to, but if you really want to sell it list it on Car gurus,Autotrader,Cars.com etc with all the good pics you posted and its background story about Dale Jr. You have time on your side so just let it ride until someone offers what you can live with. Good Luck

Price was removed, so this thread should be closed already... but I'll leave my 2cents while we wait.

2017 Grand Sports are selling BRAND NEW from dealers for 20% off. If this was $93k MSRP, that'd be $74,400. Look in the dealer section of the forum, or talk to your local dealer, that's a fairly easy discount to find.

Add 5% for star value, if you're lucky.

Remove 5% (more, if it were me) for not getting full warranty, not knowing whether the mileage followed correct break in procedures, not getting the $2500 discount at Spring Mountain, not getting the full free OnStar/Sirius subscriptions.

I'd say that's around $74k for a reasonable price. Hold on to it another month and you'll see more depreciation when the 2019's hit the market and this car is 2 model years old. If you really have the money to _afford it_ (not just keep it), then by all means enjoy that win. If you are holding it trying to get more money for it, you're going to lose more in depreciation then you will get by selling now for a great price (i.e., what you can buy new from a dealer).

If you really want to see what it's worth, put it on eBay. That'll show you what people are willing to pay.

This car was not owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr personally. There's a guy trying to sell a ZO6 owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr personally and he hasn't been able to sell it for 6 months. Good luck selling it.

It's only a used car, so it is what you want to par for a investment. Real simple. Weather one pays more than what it is worth, that is a gamble it will be worth more. But in the end you don't want to add miles. All ready to page, just dancing ,with no music. good luck, well you must have it, won it best on a used car, have fun, just got lost in all .......

how much is it, never did see it ??????

It's whatever a buyer is willing to pay. I don't know what that $ amount is, but it's not in the $60K-70K range. I'm not looking to make more than it's worth. Yep...it's a used car.
