Default What is the right price?

Hi all,

I need to sell my garaged queen 2016 z06 z07 pkg with less than 1200 miles.

I have been changed oil per scheduled and I am due for one more in May, 2018.

I just don’t drive this car due have few more cars. I have been babied this car since purchase.

It has white exterior, black interior.

What will be the reasonable price for this car?(no accidents, no histories, California vehicle)

Thanks

I'd look in the C7 dealer inventory section, look at what the big dealers are selling similar 2017 Zs for and discount yours a few thousands for being a year older and another few thousands for being used. GLWS.

Hello beastyz06,

Could you kindly PM me more information about your Z06? What LZ trim is it? What transmission? I'm in Arizona currently looking for a Z06, might be buying one in Florida, but you're much closer...

Best,
Kamil

Assuming a 2LZ or higher, with the z07 pkg I'd guess MSRP near $100k and you'll probably get around $75k-80k. Depends on options/msrp, which you didn't give.

Yes, msrp was over 100k.

It has 3lz with z07 pkg, carbon ceramic brakes.

It seems like I can’t go over 70k with less than 1400 mile almost brand new car!

It's going to take you 3-6 months to sell a car this expensive, and unless you want to sell it for $60k it probably isn't going to sell on this forum. Guys on this forum know where to get good deals on new ones and expect used ones with any mileage to go for peanuts. Put it on ebay, cars.com, craigslist, and any other site you can.... Then wait and deal with everyone that is dreaming. Eventually it'll sell to someone that is extremely thankful for the deal you gave them and the perfect car they now own.

Those that can actually afford your car won't lowball. I don't even respond to most people that just offer something ridiculous, and there is always someone that shows up with cash. I think my last corvette sold for around $15k more than I was offered on this site. Hang in there....

actually there are plenty of ‘real’ buyers on this forum. The ‘dreamers’ are the sellers that think they can get more for their used corvette than we can pay for a new one at a dealer. Bottom line is GM depreciation is a *****. I’ve seen this same car/options 3LZ/z07 sell for less than 65k not too long ago. I wouldn’t pay over 65ish.

To the OP. I'm looking to buy something now in cash so if you want to PM me details of the car (sticker and car pictures etc) that would be great.

Well said sir....... corvettes while amazing machines are still cut from the same key that makes the chevy malibu. Depreciation is a fast sinking ship. I couldn't agree more on your price assessment. My dealings at auctions would also back up that price.

I'm assuming you mean Gene's 2015 3LZ/Z07 (phantasms) that had 45k miles and was daily driven in rain/snow, had bumper stickers all over it (over a temporary vinyl job), and went for $60k in Nov 17.

Anyway, what I said was that people on this board know where to get a good deal and thus aren't willing to pay much. Fact is, MOST dealerships don't have the same prices and so anywhere other than this board will get much better prices. Like I said in my post, I got nearly $15k more on craigslist than what the forum members offered when I sold my last C7.

Buyers here are trying to get prices down and make sellers think their cars aren't worth much, and sellers are trying to get the most they can. I've watched this for sale forum for a long time and it's the same story over and over.

I have listed the last 3 Corvettes I have owned on this site.......Never got even an offer that made anysense at all.
I sold one to Car Max for $4,000 MORE than best offer on this site and sold the other two
on Craigslist for within $500 of asking price.
However, there are NO BETTER sites to get insulted/mocked and TROLLED to this site!

I have sold 3 corvettes on here and purchased 2 corvettes off here as well.
This is by far one of the best places to purchase and sell a corvette.
If you price the car accordingly, it will sell.

To the OP, somewhere around $65k seems like a fair price for your car in today's marketplace.

I purchased my '15 Z07 in Oct 2017 with 1,600 miles from a reputable Porsche Dealer, it was 3LZ and options totalled $26,220--car was 7M with black rims; was $105,215 MSRP with destination. I saved 30% from MSRP.
Yours is a year newer, I assume you have most, if not all, options, aim high, maybe start at your Base Price, and be willing to negotiate for a serious buyer.
Good Luck With Sale!!

Is car located in Cal.
I did not notice in ad.
I have cash in hand and
would drive out from Nevada and buy it if you ever get
down to $65,000 or close to that figure!

I believe it would get pretty close to $68,000 to
$70,000.00 if you listed it your local Craigslist.
Be prepared to deal with a bunch of low balling
real jerks before a real buyer materializes!

No. it was a gentleman in Southern California. Rpoli or something like that. Car was 3LZ z07 mint with less than 2,000 miles. Also there are plenty in car gurus or cars.com with under 15k miles that are dipping below 60k..not quite 3LZ but that’s why Op’s Car is worth more.

Op: good buyers are out there. I’m shopping too. Give me a PM if 65 sounds good enough.
