Would this car be legal to register in California? I tried looking into process myself but couldn't really come to a conclusion about registering in Ca. If it would be doable without jumping through too many hoops I'd be interested. Beautiful car that fits exactly what I've been looking for as far as color, options, etc

Hi Robert, I'm sorry but I know NOTHING about california's emission laws/regulations.
Hopefully someone who does know will chime in.

I posted another picture on the craigs list ad which shows a bunch of emissions codes and california is included.
I would guess,take a picture of this sticker to your local DMV and see what they say.
I bet they say " we dont want no right-wing,bible thumpin,bama-mobiles in OUR COUNRTY!!!! Have a nice day,Rick

I will talk to AAA folks about the issue tomorrow. I do think if it has the Ca sticker somewhere, it's doable. I'll try to find out exactly what's required , if that's possible, and go from there. Love the car. And Cal is not quite as bad as you suggest!
