This is a great offer, especially with the ZR1s hitting dealer lots now, lots of Z06 owners going to trade up, inventory for Z06s is going to go up now, more inventory...prices have to compensate. And not to mention not many people have $58,000 cash sitting around burning a hole in their pocket... GLWS tho!

I appreciate the offer but I've had wholesale bids from a local dealer for 61k.

GLWS beautiful ride.
Great car great price! Went through the same thing with my Z ,
Why sell it for " cash " ( discounted ) when the dealership will buy it out right or trade for more, no headaches.
And just so many people rushing to trade a Z06 for the limited Zrs that Zs will be flooding the market.
The right buyer is out there, probably not on here. GLWS

Even if you did say yes to the 58k offer I bet they'd go silent. I see these offers all the time on this forum. They'e just fishing.

On this forum it could be free and someone would want him to deliver it for that too

I know right? The funny thing is, I am actually shopping around for a C7Z right now. So, of course I am going to be looking for a great deal...but there is no way I would offer 58K for this car. I know that the owner would laugh at me when he read it on his computer...especially since he already said the dealer offered 61k. If there were 30k+ miles on it and the price was 63 obo, I might dip that low...but 16K miles is pretty decent. It boggles my mind why anyone would offer lower than that since the guy could literally drive it down the road and get more.

Someone will come along and buy this car for VERY close to what the seller is asking.

My .02
Your price is fair. I've got funds tied up in a real estate purchase currently. If its for sale in a month, which it probably won't, I'd meet your asking.

Good luck
Rich.

Its a great deal, and ZO6 deals will be getting even better. Check autotrader, there are so many of these for sale, its ridiculous. Great deal, and just imagine the C6-ZR1’s prices dropping even faster, as some low mile cars are hitting 50ties. That market is going to be crushed in another year. You’ll see C6-ZR1’s in low 50ties, and yet some dealers still have them marked in the 70ties, and these cars just sit

I totally agree, like cash is all I'm taking anyways and how serious could he be when he's making offers on a post instead of in person or message, sounds like the usual craigslist scumbag, bump for the Z

I often wonder that myself.....I guess its the seller seeing the cash in the potential buyers hand.....If I wanted 63K and somebody came up to me with 61K in hand,I'm most likely taking it....

Ever count 61k in your hand, thats a pain in the ***. Some guy bought my 12 SRT JEEP came over with 37k in a bag, after counting about 10k i said, **** it, looks good to me.
Thankfully it was right on when i went to tne bank

I sold a truck to a guy once for $6800, he brought it to me in 10s and 20s. I counted it twice, got a different result each time. Finally I let him count it in front of me. It was fine.

I'm selling my poor little 1LT Stingray right now... it's a soft market, period. GLWS.

I'm sure OP has long since taken the Z to the dealer and left with much heavier pockets by now but since there is a discussion, It is a very soft market right now, and this car is 4 years old. Newer model years with same miles and options are going for same price. I just feel the 2015 Z06 are overpriced, whether its here, at a dealer, or online somewhere else. And the market is going to correct that, it already is starting to. This soft market cant hold up these $60,000+ prices on these year Zs for long. I stand by my comment earlier $58k where cash or not... is a great offer! If OP can get more, that is an AMAZING offer.

I was always under the impression the dealer would give you less than you could get if you sold it on your own......I know the benefit of trading in one car for a newer model saves you the tax on the new purchase, but I wonder if seller was planning to trade up....
