Default Strange Behavior from a Supporing Vender

This car is not as advertised by "Conti" on Corvette Forum. Disappointed in "Conti" a Premium Supporting Vender. I know it's not good to dis a supporting vender. But, member's and administrator's should be made aware of "questionable" practices.

They posted this post on CF. When I inquired information was shared and the negotiations began. But, "Conti" was quoting a different price to me. When I asked about the CF Member Price, all communications came to a sudden and abrupt stop. Have not heard from since. I am no longer considering this car. I most likely will never do business with them.

Now the difference between what is listed here on the forum and their quoted price was $283.50 ($68,183.50 - $67,900). To bad, now I need to go on the hunt again. Which half the fun of corvette ownership....is the hunt.

My apologies...99% of the dealerships have fees etc....taxes are different in every state and why they too are not included in the price...

I am always up front with clients and NEVER play games, if you know me, you would know that....I am the main rep for the store, if you go to corvetteconti.com is says FOR Coughlin Corvette.

If you go the CoughlinCorvette.com site, the price is MUCH higher,($2000 ) I am the type to help up front to make deals and make them fast...

AS time goes on as you manage inventory things change, but this post is hurtful over 2 typical fees, if you felt this way, sure wish you would have said something rather than making it look like I was being dishonest......

If I can help and you wish TO TALK rather through this manner, please let me know

Thank-you
Rick Conti

Update: I don't believe it was a "bashing" or "bad mouthing". The propose of this forum is just this. To share information and experiences we have with each other, venders, and supporters. If I am wrong someone please correct me.

Conti reached out to me in a PM, (Thank You Sir) it was appreciated to hear from you. Had you broken the price down and I received your replies this whole thing could have been avoided. Please see my PM response.

To all others, I am not going to defend or justify anything. I stand by what I said: "The propose of this forum is just this. To share information and experiences we have with each other, venders, and supporters."

Respectfully

my apologies, this is just business as usual, until this post, did not know it was an issue and for my 23 years with Corvette, I never misrepresent a deal, I know people have their own perceptions sometimes, but I am as straight forward as it gets, truly looking to sell you not just one Corvette, but all if possible....thank-you again and appreciate you understanding my position.

If still interested in the car, please email or PM me...

I believe it’s spelt ‘vendor.’ Starting this thread over $283 is pretty darn childish. Pass up a great deal over that amount of money is insane, as already said grow a pair.

I was expecting a 3k dollar difference to cause all that drama, not 200 bucks...lol.
