Default 2015, 3LT, Shark Grey,M7, Supercharged, $45K

2015 Shark Grey 3LT with 18,000miles, Viper 15% Ceramic Tint, 7Speed, Blk interior, ECS 1500 kit with alky control, longtube headers, catless xpipe installed by JTM motorsports. Car has a lemon branded title, because it “burned oil” the previous owner wanted a Z06 and so he hounded the dealer until they took it back. It was bone stock when we got it. We have had no problems with it burning any oil even at 655WHP. We have dynos and receipts for all the work. The car runs perfect needs nothing. Central PA. $45k

I don't understand how you can simply just "hound" a dealer for a new car if your lemon DOES NOT burn oil yet you are claiming it does.

How does that work.....

The car does not burn oil at all.

It was returned as a “dealer buyback”. The previous owner had buyers remorse after the Z06 was released and wanted a Z06. He kept complaining of high oil consumption, while the dealer could not reproduce the problem, they chose to keep the customer and also sell a new car.
I am extremely happy with the car. With the added mods I am now happy with the extra performance. I don’t need to sell it, but I don’t need two.

Curious how a dealer resells a car titled like that? Does he show repairs made?

I'm curious if you've had problems insuring this car with a branded title.

The dealer sold the car by telling me exactly what happened with the car. They showed me the details of the services that were performed and the documented results.. They explained also that it was covered under factory GM bumper to bumper for the next 2 years 20k miles (ie the remainder of the factory warranty) After that, they sold it to me at a price that was several thousand dollars less. I used that money and another 10K or so to mod the car and have been driving it ever since. its a great car.

I had no problems with insurance. I had the car on ERIE insurance when i got it. Its now on progressive. they both treat it just like all of the other cars on our policy.

I will make a video tomorrow and get it posted. It has the louder of the 2 blow off valves offered by ECS. It is running the factory cam.

Thanks-

Looked good, thank you!
Save me some research please.....could a cam only be added to your car to give it some nice choppy lope without needing ten thousand other add ons?

How long have you owned the car and how many miles you put on it?
How many of those miles with SC?
Thanks.

Very cool! it really is a great car.

You can add a cam to it with no other mods needed. Cam and a retune on the dyno to make sure running optimally is all you would really need to do. I do really like the sound of a big cam also, but my wife drives this car so keeping a good smooth idle was the way to go.

Its hard to appreciate how loud this car is through the video. when its on the pipe it screams. With the valves closed it purrs like a kitten. I drove it for a 1/2 a year with no mods, and put on about 2k miles since the mods have been added. I bought it early in 2017, with 12k miles on it.
Thanks!
