I think if anyone was going to pay you 48Grand for your 3 year old used 2017 model, it would have already happened. Nice car, just was not going to happen on a 1LT car in the used car market we are in. $46,000 from anyone would be fantastic... from a dealer that's freaking phenomenal.
Good job man!
Which did you finally get, the Bugatti Chiron you were after, or the McLaren P1 ??
Trying to squeeze another 6 hundred bucks out of it by selling it here seems like it could complicate and jeopardize your new car purchase, perhaps it may not be worth it, but here's a free bump to the top to help you try.
But anyway...
Congrats on your new car at invoice, and getting all his holdback, and getting such a very high amount from a dealer for your trade in! That's a great deal, I need to get you to do my next car deal for me, please!
Congrats on finally getting rid of this one. Seriously. And, enjoy your new one, and drive the heck out of it a lot more than you did this one.
Take care man. Good job on your car deal. Enjoy.

Did you ever get a car or you still looking for someone that will sell you one at what YOU think it is worth? I’m going to guess the latter.
I could respond with wise words I’ve seen elsewhere
But I’ll thank you for your well wishes and answer..
The one problem I have with owning a Corvette is I can’t bring myself to drive it in crap weather and we have had nothing but crap weather for 6 months. This was my 12th Corvette and likely my last. Enjoyed them all just have interests elsewhere. If it goes to the dealer, or not, whoever gets this car will get one hell of a good car and a smokin’ deal. This was my 124th car in 50 years of life. (No, I’m not kidding) Knowing how to work a deal is key to being able to play the car game and not going broke in the process. I’ve learned a few things with dealerships to my favor. Didn’t start out like that. I’ve pissed away a LOT of money in my earlier years. As to why I would offer it up for a mere $300 more than the dealer, one thing I have learned is to have a backup plan. The deal is never done until the paperwork is signed and you are driving the new ride home. When I bought my Demon I had a signed contract with the dealership...and they renegg’d on the deal!!! I could have sued I suppose but once they did that they fouled the air on the whole thing. Wound up getting it at another dealership and I’ll never spend money at the original again. Point is, a backup plan should always be prepared for. I do have an exotic on my bucket list but neither of those. We’ll see if it happens down the road.
and by the way...that’s a 6 month old $65k car for $48k. You see things in negative light, tomato...tomahto.
