In exchange, they get the privilege of using the Forum to market and promote their goods and services in all of the generational sections and the General Corvette Topics sections.
I don't see where it says dealers can post new cars in a section other than Dealer Inventory. I only passed on the information given to me by one of this sites moderators. That was just a few days ago. Is there a reason you choose to use the private classifieds rather than the Dealer section?

I posted in both for more exposure. Just like vendors post in the for sale section and general discussion. Not everybody will check all the same places. Also if you were spending money advertising, wouldn't you want exposure? Also I don't see why everybody is so butt hurt on this. If you don't want to buy a car, move on to the next thread. Not that big od a deal.

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. I'm still the same person as I was before. I do everything upfront and no back and forth. Try to keep it simple and easy for my customers and myself.

All those Grand Sports in transit should be here next week before the end of the year.

Default Great purchase experience from Tim

I had been looking for a 2LT Convertible in LBR with Kalahari interior for several months. As I live in Northern CA and dealerships in CA like to add premiums vs. discounts I had been shopping a couple of the East Coast dealerships for a good price. I found Tim's post where he had the exact car I wanted in transit for a lower price than I had found a used 2017 with 7000 miles on it in the San Diego area. His price was also lower than the big boys back east without having to pay for the transport. The icing on the cake was Tim's dealership is only a couple of hours away from me in the bay area. I emailed Tim and ended up speaking to him the next day and put a refundable deposit on the car. Tim said he expected the car in on Friday and sure enough I received a call from Tim that Friday. The car had been transported in an enclosed trailer and just needed a final detail. I found out the car had 11 miles on it and was happy to hear it had been built in January of 2018 so it came out of the new paint shop, very cool. Tim asked if I needed him to set up financing and pointed me to the dealerships finance page. Shortly after I filled out the app Tim called me with a very good rate and I was locked in. The next day I drove down and met with Randy in finance who walked me through the low key process. I asked for vs Randy pushing me on the wheel protection and additional warranty as I plan on keeping the car. The pricing was very competitive and I still feel Iike I received a very good price. I was in and out an hour. As Tim was off that day we set up for me the come back the following week for a well worth it tutorial on the car. Tim has owned almost every year of C7 and is very knowledgeable on the features of the car. We spent an hour going over the features and he even gave me some advice on the few mods I am looking to do. Sorry about the long post but felt it was appropriate.

I like your ad. I keep checking for an Arctic White A8 with black interior. I go back and forth between Stingray and Grand Sport. I try to like black wheels but I really like chrome!

I went back and forth on the GS as well but landed on the Stingray due to reported wheel cracks etc and the tire cost. My C5 ran 335s as well but it was a pure pleasure car where my C7 will get more miles. I don't know what percent of the owners have the wheel issues as you cant really tell from the forum posts but it did scare me a bit. I also like the black wheels but the polished wheels do look good as well. They don't really pop out as much as the chrome which is good. I am getting the car ceramic coated this weekend including the wheels so we will see if that increases the shine much.

Thank you Steve. Again let me know if you have any questions about the car. I know we covered a lot and it can be a lot to take in at one time. LOL!

I'm glad you posted this. I completely missed that I didn't order any white with automatics. I will get some ordered. I have no idea how I missed that as white is a popular color. I can always do a custom order for you in you are willing to wait about 2 months.

I know. California can be anywhere from 7% on the low side to 10.5% on the high side.

California charges sales tax on any purchase. Doesn't matter if it is new or used. I wish they would switch their laws like some other states.
