And have you dealt with dealers before? There's no way that's actually a thing that they would follow through with. They're not dropping it ANOTHER 10K simply because of one MY. They're playing games with you. You're claiming the dealer is ACTUALLY going to drop the price of a Z06 by over 20K because of one MY? Absolutely no way, temperatures or not.

edit: I'm just going to go ahead and call BS on your entire story, because I was bored. There's ONE 2018 Z06 in your area, after rebates it's 74.6. There's no way in hell they're dropping that another 5K, let alone another 15K. If you want to double down on your lies go for it, give me the contact information for the dealership, because I will literally buy that car now.
Stop your lies.
Hey tough guy - wtf reason would I have to post that randomly if it wasn't what I was told? GM's been discounting alot of vehicles BIG TIME - full size fully loaded trucks & SUV's that sticker in similar ballpark of vette models are being discounted $20k - I'm not going to blow up the salesman by giving his name or exact dealer but sounds like you're on the right track.....hell it got me thinking myself. For the record, couple typos/misunderstandings here - firstoff, I should have said "Just north" not "Just shy" of $60k, secondly I never said the car was an automatic, I said the car was discounted automatically (off the top) $8500, note that the original MSRP of the vehicle you think it is was about $87k, I said listed for $78k - whats 87k less 8500? get it now? Now they've discounted the car even further showing sales price of $74k & I was told could get could get to a price before tax "closer to $60k than $70k"

I don't care what the advertised discount to MSRP is - doesn't matter if they're already saying its discounted, that's discounted from GM corporate, their margin is still included, if you pay an advertised price for everything (even if it already includes "manufacturers rebate" lol) you paid too much.

Do what you want w/ that info.

And take a prozac or smoke a joint or something while you're at it.

You're welcome.

Dealer gave 4k off plus the manufacturer rebate of 15% off all 2015 models going on at that time. I traded it in 2 years later with 32k miles on it and was given mid 50s which I felt was fair and the dealer listed it for 62 IIRC, not sure what it sold for.

I love your projection.

So which is it? Sub 60k, or somewhere between 60 and 70?

I'll repeat my statement. Give me the dealer info, and I will legit buy it if it's actually new and anything even close to 60. Otherwise stop your lies.

Y'all are crazy LOL.

I will say mine is probably the exception and not the rule. The stars lined up and I was able to get back into my dream car. It was a Night Race Blue car with blue interior. Now while I was set on a NRB exterior even the blue interior turned me off. I actually got the dealer to take another grand off (originally was 3k dealer discount) for the seats. I offered to swap my black Stingray seats so my trade in would have had brand new blue Z06 seats but the dealer declined. If you do a search I did a thread where I replaced the blue leather with black so I wasn't kidding, the blue seats were just not for me LOL.

The car was also for sale in Eagle Pass which is literally a border town with Mexico and I doubt it has the clientele of an Austin, Dallas or other Texas big city. It sat for months and they finally moved it to their other dealership in Devine, a small town half an hour outside of SA and I caught it on sale there, and the rest is history.

What I find strange is that some C6ZR1's are priced higher than some of the C7 Z06's..

I know they didn't make a lot of C6ZR1's but I'm figuring the C7 generation would cause the prices of C6ZR1's to drop even into the high 40's..I know the car was expensive as **** when it came out but I would think another supercharged vette would knock the C6 prices even lower.....

Not the case....Most ZR1'S are low to mid 60's, some low 70's...I have seen mid 50"s but that's the lowest..

C6 ZR1's are holding their value due to that there were only a total of 4684 made during the entire 2009-2013 production run.
Low mileage (under 10,000) C6 ZR1's are still in the 60-70 range.

Car was 115-121K new.....Feel bad for the original owners trying to sell now....Even if you get 60-65K its a 50% loss...

Is it? Guy bought a new Z06 that stickered $10-$11k higher than the one I mentioned, says he got it for $76k & it was similar scenario, leftover MY - so you'll believe that...drop the # another $11k & you're at $65k buddy!! Like I said - I meant just north of $60k, thats what they indicated to me.

Copeland Chevrolet Brockton, MA - I thought you FOUND the car I mentioned? Sounded like you did. Go buy it! But I'd keep checking around, doubt this is gonna be an anomaly. Also....based on what I'm seeing not sure whether the M7 is a + or - compared to A8 (just in terms of desirability & how quick the dealers can move off the lot.....I'm thinking the M7 cars are tougher to sell which is crazy IMO)

Guy knew I wasn't F'n around I have a fully loaded Sierra title in hand stickered for nearly $60k when I bought it & my '03 C5Z also title in hand & an '05 accord title in hand....contemplating SC'ing the C5Z vs. buying a C6ZR1 or - now that I find it may be plausible - a new C7Z, seems like me the prices may soften up even more. GM has pressure to put up solid #'s after the plant closures & we have the C8 in the works which will be a sales destroyer for ALL C7 models when they do hit the floor. Personally, biding my time & seeing what else is out there & where the pricing trends. If I could trade my accord + C5Z & put down $10k cash & keep the note on a new C7Z w/ a warranty under $35k.....its tempting.

I drove the C7 Z51 at Willow springs race track for three days.....For a car off the showroom it is unbelievable.....The linear power and handling is great....I can only imagine what the C7Z06 can do.....

Default Cheap Zo6

Been looking on autotrader, cargurus etc, cheapest Zo6 was $69,900 or so. I have a gm card , says its worth $3k discount on a new Vette. I havnt confirmed this with the dealer. This car was a coupe 1lz , 7 speed manual. Exactly what im interested in, only prob its 2300 miles away from me in Florida. I think waiting a fee more months, when we get so more info on the C8 might lower the price a bit on higher equipt cars . But lets face it a new car is a new car, they wont give them away. As for the Troll who said its just a Chevy is a fool who has probably never drove one. Garrantied even a C7 Stingray is way above his driving skill level.

69,900 for a new Z06? Sounds like a good deal to me.....Plus 3,000 dollars in GM points? Even better....

That's alot of miles - you def got the use out of it, I'm not going to buy a '16 that has more miles than my '03 though lol - I'm SURE you will sell it quickly, but given the info in this thread probably good idea to move on it this spring...

I've already run #'s a bunch of times....I don't want to carry more than a $15k note MAX & I don't want to shell out more than $20k cash while unloading my '03Z.....keep coming back to the C6 ZR1, need to drive it back to back w/ a C7Z06.....I feel like the C6ZR1 even w/ the prices holding may be the better deal & keep me closer to my price range, its just tough now that they're discounting the C7Z's so much. Will keep my eyes out in next few months if something good pops up.

Well since you're pushing, I'll go ahead and respond. You're straight out lying. I called and told them I could send them a deposit and fly up there last weekend, offered them $63K and they said absolutely no way. They already discounted it 16K (which got it down to 71.5K). I was offering 3K more than your bogus claim and they still wouldn't take it. So...nice try?

So again, you're just spreading lies and apparently you're incredibly ignorant. So keep on pushing whatever dumb BS you're pushing, but I'll keep on calling you out on your lies. If you don't want to let your lies drop and want to keep on pushing, I'll gladly keep on calling you out. You're not getting a brand new 2018 Z06 2LZ with PDR for 'sub 60K'.

You can get into a new 2019 1LZ Z06 where I am for mid-$60's. I looked at one at a local dealer yesterday. So, with that pricing for a new one, it makes sense that there must be older Z06's in the 1LZ equipment level in the 50's.

Is that a dealer in the US and if so, which dealer? That is a great deal At mid 60s. Been looking to get back into one.

Yeah really,2019 for mid 60's? I looked at a 16 1lZ today for 58,400...Blk/blk 12K miles wouldn't budge on price...Let us know which dealer is mid 60's on a 19...!!
