M7 under $40K
Finally sold the Atomic C6 and now actively looking to pick up a nice C7. M7 and NOT black or yellow are musts. 2LT preferred but will consider great base cars. Z51 nice but I probably don't value it enough to pay for it...
Would prefer white or silver over red; orange, blue or Crystal Red over grey or Kalahari. Transparent roof is a plus. I know they’re out there — in my Autotrader/CarGurus/Ebay/Craigslist/Cars.com search I've seen private party sales of clean title, lower mileage M7s as low as $35K. Dealers are charging more -- but I've seen certified 2015's as low as $40K. Even without the certification, I think I prefer dealing with a Forum member to paying a dealer premium.
Thanks in advance for your responses!

See my post from yesterday...2017 1LT Stingray, white with blacked out rims and badging. Engine mods by Mayhem Motorsports in Raleigh, NC. 605RWHP with Kooks headers, A&A Supercharger, BTR cam, Weisco forged pistons. A beaut!

It sure is!
Moved right to 2nd place in the list of C7s I am looking at.
This is fun. There are less-equipped C7s below $40K that can work for me; for the right one maybe I go as high as $41K (which is above my limit but I can be a little undisciplined for an "all-star").
You should see the first place car!

And for those who are looking, this was the "first place" car, which I wound up buying. I think it is an example of what one should expect to get for about $40K (I did "cheat" a little as it turned out).
2015 Z51 2LT with PDR, competition seats and the exposed CF roof, plus a few other nice perks. Showroom condition. Only 20K miles, still a couple months on the factory bumper to bumper warranty and 4 more years under the extended warranty. $41.2K.
Thanks to all who responded and PM'd. It was a fun search...

Great car. Thanks for posting some real world data. Your budget was higher than mine, so I'll be on the sidelines for 2 or 3 more years, just enjoying my C5.

I challenged you earlier to buy a nice, low miles C7 at ~$30K (your claim) and sell it to me for $35K so you could make $5K on a stupid guy like me.
Crickets.
You must really be a real sad-sack to get such joy out of trolling buy/sell posts. Whereas I get to enjoy my pristine C7 with my sane friends. Must suck being you...

Actually, troll, I don't. You can barely get a C6 Z06 today for less than $30K unless the miles are very high.

There are some other beauties out there, though. That one in this thread up in the Lehigh Valley looks spectacular; it's just the mileage is a bit high. Interesting where that one will settle when it goes up for sale in March. This other one would have been on my radar if it had red guts (I'm wierd -- black fine with Laguna and DSOM, but white or silver c7's had to have red or Kalahari guts lol). https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-in-sw-mi.html. Looks to be darned near perfect.
Keep me posted; I hope you get as lucky as I did
