Default Anecdotally

here's what I mean; on a grand scale, nope, too many Vettes around BUT there will be occasions when a potential buyer
will want a particular (color, options, year, etc.) car with the manual and will be willing to pay as it will be his/her 3rd, 4th car.
A few individuals will but on the larger statistical scale it won't show.

Newer cars like these are mostly automatic trans for various reasons, such as utility, traffic, wife might drive, never learned stick, whatever. But as specialty cars such as Corvettes or Musclecars age, its a given that they are wanted with a manual transmission. Any old car can be had for a heavy discount if its equipped with an automatic. So, in the near term there probably wont be much difference, but as they age the price gap will widen considerably.

The days of rowing through gears are gone. I recently tried to sell my 6spd manual 2005 C6 3lt with 47,000 no wrecks excellent condition and no one wanted it because it was a manual, even dropped the price to 15,000. Had to trade it and the dealer was bummed it was a manual as well!

Maybe a bit more, however pair an M7 with competition seats and another somewhat rare performance option like the Z07 package and now you have something.

Sportscars in general with manual transmissions tend to have greater demand these days. I would not expect much in the way of added value for the corvette yet I believe the speed in which you can resell a manual corvette could be faster.

dollar wise? Possibly an extra grand same corvette one being a manual versu the same vehicle with an automatic...

its been said the A8 c7 zr1 and even the z06 are actually quicker on many racetracks as the drivers can more easily concentrate on other aspects of putting down quick lap times.

of course from a fun perspective many believe manual transmissions create a more connected driving experience to what the vehicle is doing.
