SOLD: 2014 USAF Thunderbirds Tribute C7 (“TBRDS”) / <5000 miles
It was a great run, but after displaying by the recruiting tent at many Thunderbirds air shows (and others) and trailering TBRDS over 20,000 miles, I am retiring from this traveling circus life. Now looking for someone to carry on the tribute to the USAF Thunderbirds. (Or maybe a past Thunderbird to drive the car.) The car was originally approved by the Thunderbirds, with the agreement by me that nothing would be done with it for profit, and no claim would be made as to any connection with their organization. However, the car has been praised by three-star Generals on down and has been very popular at the shows. A new owner would be expected to honor the same agreement. I will work with a Florida resident buyer to transfer tags if desired. Asking $42k.
Note: A similarly themed 2014 Mustang (with other enhancements) was built by Ford and auctioned for charity and sold for almost $400,000. Since I agreed that I would not profit from the theming of this car, I have set a reasonable price, instead of auctioning the car. I would expect that the purchaser would also not attempt to profit from the Thunderbirds theme.
Many other photos of the car in the following threads:

This is absolutely one of the best C7 Corvettes on the streets today. I have seen this car in person-it's absolutely fantastic. Carry on the tradition-purchase this car.

I can only dream about owning that car. My dad was on the team from 73-77. My house is drowning in Thunderbird photos etc. I’m proud to be a lifetime Associate Member of the Thunderbirds Alumni. I pray that whoever gets this car will honor what it represents.
i do own a 94 Black Rose C4 but I’m saving her mileage so bought another car for long trips

Absolutely beautiful. There have been a few of these themed Thunderbird cars running around. The last one I saw was a 90's model mustang at Ft Hood Texas. Being a prior team member (2000-2003), and alumni, I can say this is by far the best I have seen yet. I hope whomever buys it continues to show it and not try and profit from it.

Beautiful
I am a former Thunderbird Team member(1983-1985). I was a Crew Chief. Super job! Would love to have the car, but will need to stick with my 2007 Victory Red coupe. Again, beautiful job....
