C7 possibly
Hi all, I’m currently selling my c6 base in hopes of getting a c6z, I’ve been looking around and found numerous amounts of c6s I would like to purchase, but I started thinking maybe I could look into a c7, max is about $30k, I thought about it and then looked on kbb and a 2014 2lt very good condition m7 is valued at $26k-$29k with 50k miles, which seems perfect, just wanted to post this to see if anyone has a c7 fitting this criteria, if not I’ll stick to a c6, must be a Manual. Thank you!

The only $26,000-29,000 cars are those with salvage titles or those with over 100,000 miles. If you go on Cargurus and search the entire nation the cheapest non-salvage title is $28,000 with 117,000 miles.

I have a 2015 coupe 8 spd high optioned red tintcoat platinum interior with 20600 miles. A 2LT with all 3LT options except the 2 tone dash. $40K. I am 78 and car getting too difficult to get out of.

If you do Facebook, there is a 2014 Corvette Stingray, M7 white with black interior, red calipers, upgrade roof panel, has 60,000 miles located in Villa Rica, Ga. Don't know if that would be doable for you but they want $29,500 and looks like a very nice car. One of the better ones I have seen for that price.

Why manual only?
I am currently on my third corvette, (98 C5 auto, a 79 LS1 resto-rod w/T56 6 speed, and a C7 auto). I still have the 79 C3 and the 2014/C7. The paddle shifts in the C7 are great, don’t get me wrong as I still love shifting old school style in my 79 restorod, but IMO the modern tranny with auto and manual mode with paddle shifters are better than old school stick shifts (a modern dual clutch paddle shift tranny is on the endless list of mods for my C3)! You can’t even get a stick shift in the C8 anymore, paddle shift only.
Curious us why folks are still so “manual only” bent? And know this might stir up the hornets nest :-)
