Default Vengeance Racing lays down 680RWHP/643RWTQ with Nitrous Outlet Plate Kit

It has been a long Monday, but I wanted to post this up before heading home.

The only change to our car was removing the OE spark plugs and installing a set of plugs more suited to nitrous. This cost us a few HP and is included in the dyno graphs below.

It seems the LT1 responds EXTREMELY well to nitrous.

We started off with a 35 Nitrous Jet and 18 Fuel Jet

112RWHP/136RWTQ gain with a FIFTY shot...

After reading plugs and reviewing the datalog we stepped up to a 52 Nitrous jet and a 28 fuel jet

169RWHP/197RWTQ gain with a 100 shot....

I have a few videos to edit/post as well as pics of the kit on the car. We plan to continue to jet up to 200HP or until the plugs show us signs the engine isn't happy.

HUGE thanks goes out to Nitro Dave and his crew for an awesome kit!!!

Jesus... the 50 now equates to 120. Time to re-think easy power adders!

How repeatable we're the results. Did you loose much with the plugs and the nitrous tune off the bottle?

So this car is headers, tune, cam, nitrous?

Our previous #s were 519/458 so we lost approximately 10/10 with the colder plugs.

We have multiple graphs of the 100 shot making within 5rwhp.

We are working on the 150 shot today, but it may take a little time. The ECU is already showing 1150 lb ft of torque and is trying to limit power output.

awesome numbers, but these companies that rate the n20 hp need to adjust their claimed numbers. Someone could throw a 150shot and blow their motor thinking its a true 150shot. Only to find out they gained 300hp...

Nitrous Outlet has been in the industry for many years and their jet charts are usually 100% spot on. Various things affect the gains including cam/headers etc... I will say I was a bit surprised by the results as well and if this turns out to be typical I believe they will adjust accordingly.

FWIW, here is a link to one of the most accurate calculators I have ever used. They are right on the money with Nitrous Outlets jet chart.

thanks for the reply , yes i know they are the best in the biz. Some people like used N20 in the past and based it off the Kit rated hp. For it to be almost double what they are saying is dangerous.

how far will you push this engine? The pistons and rods are not forged. I would think 700 is pushing your luck with that kind of trq.

We have exceeded the available tuning parameters from both HP and EFI Live so I guess we will stop here for now... This should get us down the track fairly quick..

What plugs are you running? I just put in 150 jets in mine and been wanting to find a colder burning plug.

when will this beast see the 1/4 ? Would be epic to see a 9.9 pass from a 7spd.
