Default Unbiased heartbeat vs LT4 blower results!

Our tuner nic's C7z on the dyno after we swapped a @magnusonsuperchargers heartbeat on it (2.3l) to see what it would do with that being the only change.

This car has an 18% lower, halltech intake, arh 2" headers, alky control meth kit, and flex fuel kit (e54).

Stock upper pulley is a 2.5 and we used an 80 mm (roughly 3.1) to try and keep boost as close to the same as possible (it ended up being 1 psi higher) but the gains up top are massive considering the blower isn't chocked up top anymore.

Car still has the stock cam in it, there are zero dyno tricks being played here guy's. we bolted on the blower and tuned it, this is exactly what it netted us.

Also to note this car with bolt on's has gone 10.02 @ 136 (time slip attached) and pulled a nice wheelie in 4300 FT DA. on dec 10th we are running the car again at another track rental in tucson to see what this netted us

Figure an additional # of boost is worth roughly 15hp/tq at, I'm guessing, 13+psi...that's pretty damn impressive. 50+ hp and 25+tq just from a blower swap = easy power upgrade. Turn the boost up and it only gets better. It's begging for a mild blower cam to really open up the flow though

80 rwhp and 42 rwtq over the 1.7 with mods but almost 200 rwhp over the stock A8

So what was the final boost number with the Heartbeat? And did this require any fuel system upgrades besides the meth injection? Very impressive results.

Is that classed as a bolt on mod then? Haha nice work as ever! Did you by any chance see what the difference in IATs was?

Sure did. Was 10 degrees less over the stock blower during the pull. True test will be during a quarter or half mile pull to really overlay the data.

Nice work! I have one on mine as well (although only 712RWHP - guess I have to get back to tuning). That 1740 is just too small for these 6.2L engines, I love the way the 2300 just keep pulling up top!
