Worlds Quickest what? 60 ft? We went at 5.80 @127.33 on our 8.98 1/4 mile pass. What world record was this again?
We hold the
1/8th mile 5.80@ 127.33
1/4 mile 8.983 @151.78
and 1/2 mile 191.8 mph
WORLD records in the c7 platform.

You have it wrong, they denied racing us heads up. I speak to Bryan(owner of AMP), we are friends so people should not take stuff on the internet so seriously. We spoke and they said they would not race heads up, and even the promoter of the Q30 tried to get them to line up side by side with us and the answer was no. Its all good.

Sam, you are right, no one has been close for two years now. We were the first to successfully tune a Forced Induction C7 Corvette back in 2014, both Supercharged and Twin Turbocharged.
In addition to LMR building the first C7 to run 9s, we also set the 1/8, 1/4 & 1/2 mile records back in 2014.
In two years no one had come close to our 9.3 @155mph (11-2014) pass until you guys broke it earlier this year.
LMR congratulates you on that achievement and now its our job to prove that two years later we are still building the World's Quickest and Fastest C7 Corvettes. That is why we are not scared to line up against anything you have heads up.
If you wont take us on this weekend heads up, then we will see you at the track soon enough.
Again, thanks for pushing the envelope so we do not ever get tired of striving to be the best.

SO true. The weekend is over and LMR holds the C7 World Record. All that drama they started for no reason blew up in their face. And not trying to talk smack(because we let our cars do that for us), but we still have our quicker C7 waiting in the wings when someone gets close or decides they will actually line up against us side by side in a true drag race like my boss stated.

Threw that in to match the BS in the original article that led me to believe all that was done to the car was a procharger and slicks. No cam, meth, nitrous, 15" drag package, etc....
I seriously doubt you can put on a set of slicks and procharger on a "stock" ZR1 an pull 8s.
Article should have been titled "Another Corvette owner dumps 30 grand into his car to go fast".
