Didn't have any cooling problems with the kit on the car at our shop... should be posting up a whole bunch of info on it shortly. With the base turbos we made over 800whp and over 900wtq, building the engine and making more soon!

I want that kit... It's just so pricey compared to a blower. Maybe a single turbo kit in the future? I wonder if that would be cheaper.

No, it wouldn't be. The most expensive components of the kit is the labor that goes into it. With all the cross over piping and y-joints, the single turbos generally require more labor, and are just as expensive or close.

Even the turbo cost. You trade two less expensive turbos for one really expensive one.

You're right, it is alot more than a simple blower, but that's comparing apples to oranges. Just like saying NO2 is much less expensive than a blower. They're two completely different animals and behave differently.

HP we're seeing in the base 7psi is 600-700whp relatively easily. And super reliable at that power level. Going up from 700 is where the reliability starts to taper.

600-700 with the base setup pretty easily. Yes, front mount A2A IC is included.

The power we've advertised is on a completely bone stock setup, with stock exhaust, through an auto, 6psi, and on a conservative tune.

As you can clearly see, the power increase substantially with the exhaust opened up, as well as a 1psi gain.

The base turbos are good for 800-850whp efficiently (1100hp max), 6182R's are good for 1250whp efficiently (1400hp max), and we've got full framed T4s now available that will take this up into the 2K whp range.

This kit work with the C7Z by just twincharging and feeding it through the blower?

I believe you would have to switch out the intake manifold like Procharger does, since the TB is in a different location. I'm not sure it would work with the twin charged since we've never tried it, or what it would take to make it work.

But, the reality is I wouldn't do it anyways. You'll make significantly more power with just the TT alone. The blower has alot of parasitic drag which equates out to loss.

Will you guys be working on a Z06 kit in the near future?

On a twin charged setup I believe you leave the stock blower pulley so it dosent generate excessive heat and the turbos pretty much do the work anything over the stock blowers boost. The OEM Blower has a built in intercooler so it would eliminate the extra piping needed and I would suggest an ICE tank an upgraded heat exchanger... Atleast that's how I would do it if I fabricated one.

It would be nice to make a kit for the Z's since the stock motor is forged you can get pretty much the full potential out of the setup.

I'm sure you could just mount this turbo kit and run an aftermarket intake manifold for a z06.

Twin charging is a waste of money. Extra weight, cost, and parasitic loss.

We actually did a lot of extensive testing and research with the twin charged setups back a few years ago, and you're much better off with the TT alone. Adding a SC dropped power from 720whp to 620whp, with all else being equal. Comparing boost to boost, it always made more power before 4k (that was always the crossover point), but it wasn't significant. It always made less power after 4K, and the losses were very significant. Just the pumping losses of spinning the blower are incredible.

I would take use of the fully forged engine and just drop the Procharger manifold on there with the TT's alone. Then you could make some serious power.
