I do not track the car and I am not hitting WOT very much, but I have hammered it a bunch of times at WOT and have had no issues....I have not had any heat soak issues at all...My IAT temps (which is IAT2 on a normal Z06) have been great. At 80-90 degree ambient temps and normal driving they are 115-135...With more aggressive driving I have only had temps hit 150 once...I love the setup and the custom tune on the engine and the trans. The car is so much more alive! The power is nuts!

The weak point on the LT1's are the pistons. Keeping them cool with the proper fuel trims and timing is what makes them last. As long as the tune is safe, and the engine is not facing detonation, or anything that would cause overly excessive cylinder heat, (Which this applies to the stock LT1 as well.) I do not see it jeopardizing the piston/engine life at all.
Yep, pretty much any PD type supercharger located in an intake valley is going to be subject to heat soak. It's just the nature of the beast. We do offer several products to combat that though.

Update: It has now been over 5k miles since I had the install. No issues to report! Love this car!!

Making around 600whp on the LT1 shortblock is not going to compromise the longevity of the engine life. The tune on Matt's (managerman's) car is very conservative as well. For example, we have seen C7/Camaro6 owners making 800whp on those for years now without missing a beat. That say a lot itself.

Question - About the install how did you get around the Z51 motor having higher compression than the Z06? seems that would cause problems with cylinder pressures once the supercharger is installed. Also did you use the stock Z51 cam and how does that cam compare to the Z06 version?

The lt1 cam is larger on the intake (which makes power) and less on the exhaust (which aftermarket headers/etc alleviates the larger split the lt4 cam has)
Thats why this car stockish with lt4 blower made more power then an A8 z06

Compression is power... I run 12.1 in my car and over 12lbs... just have to understand how to do spark mainly...

Update: It has now been over 8k miles since I had the install. No issues to report! Just wish the warm weather was not going away so soon.

We still do not have the Silverado truck kit available. I can offer you the kit installed for the same price as the LT4 blower Stingray packages we have. Add $2000 to website price for the install/tune.

All of my friends that have Z's that have driven it cannot believe how much more power it has compared to theirs when driving them back to back. Short runs it just destroys the z.

i had a '15 Z06 M7. This set up is instant power compared to the Z. A number of factors: this car is an A8 Vs M7. Different rear axel ratio: 2:41 vs 2:73 in the auto.
