Good deal! Yeah I think that's your best bet, assuming the tuner does DI engines regularly

IATs been running at 132F...You guys know if that's normal for running a PD blower? Air temps have been around 80F...
Anyone know at what IAT temp it will start to pull timing?
Thanks,
Pj

Depends on tune, there's no one size fits all
Is it 132 just riding around or 132 during pulls?

I looked at some logs from a 2013 with a heartbeat installed and IAT's were normally in the 70-80* range just riding around. Worst case @ WOT it got up to 113*F and within a minute was back down to 90*F or less... so something isn't right with yours IMO. Could be sensor calibration, bad sensor, could actually be that high from air in the system, or something else.. I'm not sure, but that doesn't sound right to me

I'm not sure--I was tuning remotely. Just looking at some quick pictures it does look like it's on top on C6 setups..

Appears the Magnuson kit re-locates the IAT out of the MAF into the charger/plenum so, I guess the IATs I'm seeing are normal.
So far the highest (with ambient @80F) is 132F on the highway. Obviously it climbs up a bit when the car slows down. With air temps below 80F (e.g. ~70s), the IATs run cooler; about 110F.

This is on a C6

Make sure you are reading the correct IAT output. I'm not familar on the C7 tune how its displayed, but on the C7Z in HP Tuners, there is IAT, IAT2 and Manifold Air Temp. Manifold air temp is the correct PID. IAT2 will read and it looks like it "could" be right but it isn't.
IAT is ambient air before the blower, and basically useless.
IA2 is supposed to be after the blower (The C6 ZR1, CTSV used this one)
MAT is the temp sensor after the blower on a C7Z.
Yours being a C7 without a factory blower may be using IAT and moving the sensor to post blower.
Just make sure you are using the correct PID for the sensor location to get the correct output to your scanner.

If you're in an LT1 with a Maggie - "IAT" will be the correct temp to monitor - its moved to post blower.
If you're in an LT4 its "Manifold Air Temp" that you should be looking at.

Here's the final numbers from a custom tune today...
Magnuson's last tune got it to 493HP. Custom tune today made 515 rwHP, 530 Torque.
Thanks to Granite State...

Magnuson tune
So, I finally got around to get it Dyno'd...
They won't get back with me. The tune is not right. Car will shut down ........
Disappointing numbers. Tuner says it's running too rich for a GDI.
I've sent mail to Magnuson to get their input and to see if they can adjust the tune...
Hopefully it's not a boost leak.
Anyone have this trouble with their Magnuson and Magsuson's tune?

Melting Slicks
Is your car totally stock? If you have any mods at all then the tune will be an issue. All Magnuson's tunes are based on 91 octane at sea level. So any elevations changes can throw the tune off some but I've not seen any of their tunes make that low of HP and if it is rich there could be other issues.
