Default What is the most robust engine combo? 376?416? Darton sleeve?

This is for a Camaro but I might get more replies over here. I have a turbo kit good for 1500+hp. I have a fuel system good for 1500+hp(on e85). Next is the engine.

Is a 376 more robust than a 416? Are the darton sleeves better than stock?

What is the week point in a built motor and at what point does it present itself? What is the most power you can make dependably and on what set up?

Thats a lot of power for a 4 bolt head.

So are you saying displacement or sleeves do not matter. The 4 bolt heads will be the limiting factor before anything else?

If true would this this make the drop in piston and rods the logical way to go if they get you near the limit of the 4 bolt heads?

I have another thought. If head sealing is the limiting factor wouldn't a 416 allow you to make a little more power at a given amount of cylinder pressure? There would be more leverage available.

OP here you may want to look at a ERL block due to the way they work there blocks it will work better the way they cross drill them, on a high boosted car. Again that extra bolt on the head & block you can only torque it down to 40lbs but that is better than not having the 6 bolt are stud.

3 years ago they were into the LS set up big time. Also they really though a lot about the blocks they sold. About like RHS this motor couldn't take boost over 25 lbs save

ERL had some dam fast cars at Holley Fest that they where backing up with motor & parts back then.

I have paper work from last year on a CO making a LS block set up from a full block of Aluminum 8,k for bare block & main caps only. Said it would take big boost without coming apart. It also 6 bolt set up on the block.
