Just use a large flathead to lock your flywheel. I will be doing a writeup on this as well. Not so much as a total writeup but some things i have observed and done differently. It was supposed to be here tomorrow but i got a text this morning it was out for delivery.....but being Fedex, they are probably wrong again even though i took off work today for it now....

The spec work was done by me. The balancing, parts check, cryo and maching was done by a small local shop here in Pasadena. The final layout, checkout and assembly was done by me as well.

How do you lock the flywheel in a manual transmission C7? I'm about to start my install.

May not be helpful but on my A8 car I just used the Milwaukee high torque cordless impact. No drama no locking needed.

Try putting it in gear and set the parking brake. That might be enough to hold it from turning.

Just use an impact. I have removed lots of crank pulley bolts with my IR Titanium impact without issue.

The only one I have is electric and I doubt it has enough *** to pull the job off.
