What is the HIGHEST "stock cam" LT-4 power number? (Boost only)
Quick question for all the cool dudes on this forum.
I know that most people do a cam on the LT4 and LT1 to get more fuel.
Plus the added sweet bonus of more HP, (and killer sounding idle)
But does anyone know what the highest HP is for a stock cam motor?
Thanks in advance,
Erik

700 rwhp is typical with meth anything over that maybe asking for trouble....this is a LT1
LT4 would be a lot more

That wasn't really my question.
I am well aware of the limits of the LT1 and why.
Sorry for the confusion, it's not a common question I know.
My question was what was the highest BOOST only number anyone knew of on the stock cam, stock engine LT4 (no matter power adder, or method of extra fuel delivery)

We always upgrade out of the stock cam because of the benefits of the larger fuel lobe, and while we're in there upgrade everything else.
I would be concerned of the limitations of the AFM/VVT components. If you are still running AFM lifters, stock valve springs/retainers, and do not have a cam phaser lock you are potentially playing with fire.

Subscribed. We've always been curious of the limitations, but have not wanted to test them. LOL

Cams out now that are street driven that will give you almost 100 rwhp by it self. Why play like this with the stock stuff that is not made to be pushed like this.. Just my 2 cents.. Robert
Eddie seen your guys tent in BG KY good talking with you guys.
