I'm surprised how quiet my ECS is.

If your saying the A&A head unit is the same noise level I heard another forum members who has the base A&A kit and his was way louder especially at idle.

Mine is very hard to hear and the forum members first comment was how much quieter mine was that his.

I remember Mustangs sounded mean as hell with straightcut gears Procharger. But maybe after a while it would get on my nerves, who knows!

My C6 had a Procharger D1SC and there was no mistaking it had a blower. Sounded lovely. A&A is quiet in my opinion but the loud blowoff valve is just that...loud, very loud...I like it

I have a p1 on my Stingray and this thing is LOUD. I raced a 14 A8 Z51 w/ Novi 1500 and his was quiet! Huge difference in sound of the 2.

Although I have E85 locally so I'd really like to use it.

Also, is A&A's Ti head unit louder at idle than their Si head unit?
I just installed the A&A si trim. It is very very quiet. I am also old so I did the quiet BOV as well. The super charger is completely quiet, you pretty much can't hear it, maybe a little with the hood up at idle. However, even the quiet BOV makes some noise. It's not bad but you can hear it. It gets a little annoying if you run it hard for an extended period of time. I wondered if anyone ever piped a BOV out the back of the car so you couldn't hear it ?

To bring back the dead... So the base A&A is the same as the ECS head units, which are quiet due to the helical gears, where as the Procharger is loud with the strait cut gears. Is that correct? Anyone have any way of commenting on the Hz and DB difference? Anything else of note that differentiates the 3 kits?
Thanks in advance.

Paxton has since started offering head units with straight cut gears for those who like that sound, just an FYI. We could set the kit up with that head unit if you're interested, haven't sold one yet though.

Really!? I didn’t hear about that! Which specific head units are available with straight cut gears now?
