Procharger w/helical gears, or Edelbrock blower?

The Maggie with an LT1 and A8 (auto) puts down 540-550 RWHP, my M7 (manual) C7 Z06 put down 545 RWHP stock on the same dyno. The power limit on an LT1 is not a SC limit, its a knock limit on 91 octane fuel. The Maggie 2300 on an otherwise stock LT1 with Drag radials will run 10.8-10.9 ETs @ ~130MPH.
Last time we were at the track there were a few A8 (auto) C7 Z06s, none of which could hang with our TVS2300 Z51 C7 A8.

2016 Stingray non-Z51, regular stock exhaust (3 inch tips), showroom stock. Primarily daily driver, will never 'track' the car. I've heard that the centrifugal blowers have a 'whistle' at all times, especially at idle and light throttle, so I'm leaning towards the roots style (e.g. Edelbrock) which (presumeably) does not whistle. Some Utube videos confirm P1 the whistle, but never ear witnessed a P1 in person. Did checkout an F1 and the sound of 'broken glass' was so loud, it could have been masking the whistle.
As a point of reference, I put 500 miles on a 2016 Z06 and loved it. Plenty of power, and sound was totally acceptable, like a non-supercharged engine. Does a P1 procharger whistle? Comments?

It was great talking with you this afternoon, just give me a call back if you ever have any other questions!

I meant re-do the first video with the only difference being the mic inside the car with hood closed and windows rolled up. My only concern is if the P1 makes that irritating, piercing high pitched whine under normal street driving (idle/light throttle). Full throttle acceleration sounds great,BTW!!
Thanks again!

If you don't like the "whistling / piercing" noise of a centrifugal blower (I don't either by the way) you need to go roots. I've yet to hear a P1 / F1 / D1 that you can't hear making noise at idle especially.
When I go FI, I will go roots style for this exact reason.

At idle with the helical gears there is a slight whine sound but wouldn't call it annoying.

I would like to hear a centrifugal blower with helical gears, certainly they have their advantages over roots style. Problem is, nobody seems to have the heli gears, so I have no way of determining if they are acceptable. That's why I asked KC Stingray to do a second video like the first (parked, idling, with the windows up, mic inside the car), but he denied my request.

The P1 and i'm sure the others come with the same option of normal gears or helical gears. Normal gears produce the higher pitched whine. The helical gears produce less whine. I went with the helical gears and its barely audible. The bypass valve is louder
