If I lose my factory warranty, I can do a lot of non-drivetrain related repairs with the additional $8K and still be at parity.
I would just say to checkin to see if they've actually ever paid anything. There is a post on this forum where an LPE car had a lifter wipe a cam. LPE is saying that they don't cover GM part failures even tho they took the engine apart and rebuilt it using factory parts. So at the end of the day their 3yr 36k warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on....assuming the story being told is correct.

So with Eforce, if a lifter wipes the cam shaft are they going to cover the cost of a new motor?

Sounds very good...in theory. I hate to be so skeptical, I probably can't count the number of aftermarket warranties I've seen that always seem to find a loophole not to pay when the time comes ala the LPE story.

Id love to hear of a known claim that has been paid.

I had a E-force put on my 392 Challenger before I bought the corvette and I was very worried about longevity. I called Edelbrock and asked that same question and whether you can believe them or not the engineer I spoke to said they have never had a modern engine fail from the Eforce. Again just what he told me. I know they have a fantastic reputation and if they were having motors failures they wouldn't be in business long.

And I give you your loop hole. I don’t believe there is an aftermarket that can say they’ve never had an engine fail...regardless of where the fault lies. Take that blown engine car to GM with an aftermarket supercharger attached and watch them laugh you out of the shop when you inquire about warranty coverage. All Edlebrock has to do is blame GM parts and they are off the hook saying it’s not their fault.

If you put an Eforce on an new LS7 car and it drops a valve who’s paying?

I haven't heard of anyone saying Edelbrock didn't back up their warrenty. If you find someone saying otherwise please let us know. Here's Edelbrock phone number if you'd like to ask them any questions.
Phone: 877-266-3838

No, because you can't buy "new" LS7 corvette. They stopped making LS7 corvettes in 2013. The Edelbrock warranty is 3 years 36,000 miles from date the car was built. So being the last LS7 was built 5 years ago you'd be out of luck.
If your new LT1 corvette, built less then 3 years ago with less then 36,000 miles on it, they would pay to repair the Engine.

It was a hypothetical question but you missed that....but a 2015 Z28 could still be under warranty.
