Default LMR C7Z 15" Conversion

Well things are about to get serious with another LMR1000 HP package. This customer wants to do some dig racing so we did a 15 inch conversion on this beauty for added traction.

I am very curious what this car will run. It made well north of 1000 rwhp and with it's new found traction we are about to find out!

Give us a call at the shop for your next performance need!

This looks great. What kit are you using for the 15" conversion? LG? Carlysle, or an in house setup?

We've used all three.

C7&7 says you're thinking about a 15' setup @FYREANT?

Bring us the car!

The difference is the brakes and the price. Carlyle uses lg stuff but has a nicer brake package and the price reflects that. I think the difference is $500 or so.

At $5K for the conversion, not sure it makes sense for most.

Looks like it's $2700 - Not including the wheel / tire combo of course. I am sure LMR can get a better deal out the door than this also!

The positive of the Carlyle kit is that you are able to adjust the camber to 0* with the ROD ends on the LCA and keep the wheel in the fender. With the lg you can not adjust the LCA, hince why their tire is hanging 2" out of the rear fender.

Even when we ran your spindles we had to modify them to use the heim joints you so carelessly dismissed... I’ve never said anything bad about your products... I’ve only stated mine offer more options. If you really want to know, my fastest times we’re on spindles that we made work with our products... we never used your production pieces... I’m sure you’ve always known this because I told you from the very begining!

Regardless if you chose my parts or his, I’m just happy to see you modify your car and go faster!

I’m going to leave this at that as it is Friday night and I do have a social life...

Am I the only one who thinks LG took their comments a bit too far and should have took the high road?

Yeah, like LG's stuff has always been great and fit perfect
If Mark saw a reason to do something different, good for him. Gotta do what works. I'll be calling him for those beadlocks soon (you know, the ones I've been trying to scrape the cash for LOL)

I agree... come off arrogant and holier than thou. I've seen poor fitment of their headers blamed on their customers - had one told to hammer the body of their car as per LG to make them fit. Sounds like a mentality of us and them around the ranks of LG. Taking care of customers should be #1, being able to withstand creative criticism on an open forum is part of how you better your products and take care of customers better. Sounds like there was some pent up anger that just got released.

It's all immature drama.. we're all here for the same reason.. to make our cars faster, safely.. and not be priced gouged..

We're all on the same team.. we're all car related. Should all be a helpful situation.. not a angry one
