Introducing the CR-Fueler port injection controller kit
Hey everybody, wanted to give a quick formal introduction of the Crawford Racing LLC CR-Fueler family of 100% plug and play port injection controllers.
These have been on the market for about a year now and have been put through the paces! They offer tons of features and have coverage for all GM V8 DI engines and most budgets.
All kits feature plug and play connectivity for ease of install, with no cutting or splicing. All feature OEM connectors and full weatherproof protection, including the relay and fuse block. I will also supply a base file, and will have the latest firmware updates performed on ECU's, so you can get started right away. I take the guess work out of it, and can assist in choosing the correct components for a trouble-free build.
Every one of the Crawford Racing CR-Fueler kits use ECU's with 8 injector drivers that provide full sequential fuel injection. We feel that is a superior aspect of our product, it is especially important when being used as port injection to have that full sequential injection. Be aware of other controllers on the market that use cheaper ECU's with only 4 (or less) injector drivers, only allowing a "batch fire" type injection.
CR-Fueler Base kit uses a GM E38 ECM for affordable and easy port injection control. Tunes with existing HP-Tuners software, but lacks closed loop , temperature or flex fuel fueling corrections.
CR-Fueler 2.0 kits feature ECU offerings from Holley, Haltech or Motec. These kits add closed loop fueling with widebands, temperature and full flex fuel corrections. Along with available boost, Nitrous and meth control. These are the ultimate in versatility and control.
The most popular CR-Fueler kit is the Holley HP or Dominator kits. We include all necessary sensors and can custom tailor any kit to suit your needs, including ECU placement and any additional accessories or sensors.
These kits when combined with a low pressure fuel pump upgrade, will cover any power level to 1500+ hp, even on full E85!
LT1's can even utilize their stock high pressure fuel pumps and injectors!
I also offer wire harness only kits, for people already sourcing their own ECU's.
Don't hesitate to drop me a line or give me a call, I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have and look forward to powering many more record breaking C7's!!!

BAse kit come with an E38 ECU? I also assume it can be setup as a SD tune to add fuel based off MAP....
I can make this work like the ZR1s port injection setup using GM ECU.. Very Nice!

Yes, Base kit does come with a pre-programmed E38 that uses a basic VE tables fueling strategy. Safer then relying on a meth kit to deliver meth to all the cylinders at the right time!

We have a couple more Base CR-Fuelers and Holley CR-Fueler 2.0 kits still in stock. We have installed port injectors into the MSD Atomic intakes for one of the more cost effective solutions, and believe it or not, has withstood 25+ psi of boost and 1300+ HP with both twin turbo and supercharged C7's!

This is an amazing product, at a VERY resonable price, from a great guy and customer servant. This breaks new ground in the search for reliable fueling for HIGH HP applications on the C7 platform. Welcome Chris and thank you for your support and guidance

Here is a little video put together from last summer with the street car testing on full E85. This car is a true daily driver, and has been low 9.40’s in the quarter. Completely trouble free since the CR-Fueler port injection fuel system
was added.
was added.

Can you secondary ECU read E%?
What does this kit cost? Turn key. Assuming you guys modified that MSD intake for injectors? Or is MSD selling that as an option now?

The CR-Fueler BASE kit with the GM E38 ECM, will read ethanol content, but will not adjust fueling. Meaning, you would likely need to adjust or have different tunes if switching back and forth from E85 and pump gas.
For customers that want to have full flex fuel capabilities, I steer them towards the CR-Fueler 2.0 kits with Holley, Haltech or Motec ECU's. The Holley is the most popular choice.
You get fuel flex fuel on the C7 ECM and port injetion ECU, and they blend seemlessly. Works awesome!
The MSD intake comes cast with "bungs" in the plastic, we had a jig made to drill them out precisely, and brackets made to use off the shelf fuel rails.
CR-Fueler BASE with GM E38 ECM that will read ethanol content, but won't compensate is $1200 complete with all harnesses and pre-programmed ECM
CR-Fueler 2.0 Holley HP that has full flex fuel capabilities, is $2757 complete with NTK wideband O2, harness and sensor kit, pre-programmed ECU etc.
MSD intake modified for port injectors and fuel rail kit with brackets is $1350
Recommended for MSD intake, extended tip 900cc Bosch injectors are $650 set of 8

A brief video showing some of the key elements of the Holley V4 software and how the fuel map is utilized in a port injection setup.
Here is a link to the Holley V4 software free download. I encourage anybody interested to download and play around with some of the tables and get to see first hand how easy it is to use, and how versatile it can be.

Well the car is home for the weekend............then off to Chris to work his magic with the CR Fueler and tuning. Chris is not only a genius when it comes to electronics and fabrication; this guy dialed in a tune from HPT scan logs only that kept the car right at 1.00 Lamda during my drive back home from the shop. Pretty damn impressive. My tech also had him tune his 800whp 5 GEN Camaro after looking at scan logs. Chris made his car run MUCH stronger than it did on the previous full dyno tune. Crazy! Cant wait for Chris to get ahold of the EV ZO6

Ok, so I include free of charge with all levels of my kits, a flex fuel harness for the secondary ECU and the OEM C7 ECM if desired.

Why the "extended tip" over Injector Dynamics say 1050x? I am trying to find the right injector myself for port injection on my G1Pro intake would those extended tip Bosch injectors work for that intake? Get me to 1000 wheel on E85?
