Default F1X Guys: What pulley combo and belt size???

Just changed my YSI to a F1X. I have my innovators west 8.3 Lower and a Griptech 4.25 upper with a K100456HD Gates and was seeing belt slip and then it broke. What combos and belt sizes seem to be working for the F1x guys in here?

Its a Griptech 10 rib. Ordering another k100456 (10 rib) and also a slightly smaller k080450 (8 rib, next 10 rib is too short) and will try again tomorrow.

Haven't used a laser, but everything looks straight on.

try to not tight it too much first let it break in first, at what rpm you see belt slip, and how much boost did it make

Update. I had the tensioner not adjusted properly. Steady boost climb with the new k10456hd with the 8.35 lower and 4.25 upper. Made 18.7lbs @ 6600. Going to try a 3.9 upper and see if I can make 21-22lbs around 6700.

Our big one is doing 1275whp at 25psi with a 4" upper and stock lower, 19* timing on e72, with our chiller and ditched the air to air cooler that had an 8psi pressure drop across it! Slowed blower down 5k RPMs and picked up nearly 200whp with IATs around 90*!

only dyno graph I have handy but this is vs the our record setting boost only CTSV3 that ran mid 9s at 146

Thanks. Are you stock cubes? Is the stock ProCharger Lower a 8.1? Great numbers! I'll be thrilled if it makes anywhere close to that.

This is our LT427 sleeved block https://weaponxmotorsports.com/produ...-block-lt1-lt4
Big valve heads https://weaponxmotorsports.com/produ...-z06-cts-v-lt4
as well and our stage 4 cam Twister camshaft https://weaponxmotorsports.com/produ...rvette-z06-lt4

I can tell you we could barely make 1100whp with this setup through the air to air intercooler because it is so undersized and has an 8 psi pressure drop.

Thanks. I have a custom air to water with heat exchanger in it now. I got rid of the air to air a few months ago.
