Looks good are you waiting on tune or weather?

a lot of good diy blower installs going on and trying to decide, excited to hear how you like the car with Procharger!

The car is at my friend's tuning shop, EFX tuning.

I kinda just squeezed my way in and dropped it on him.

So I am waiting for him to tune it, but I told him to take his time with it since the weather is garbage here anyway. The car is safe inside his shop so it makes no difference if its done tomorrow or in 3 weeks

What catch can did you decide to use? I will probably go the Procharger route myself--so appreciate your post and any info you can give!

damn. See... I got a 4 foot bar then put an extra 2-3 foot pipe on the end, came off easily. All physics.

Ehh... sorry to say but that routing looks pretty bad, at least to me. I routed mine like the manual said to do and it keep its below anything you need to access. Here is mine when I first installed it.

For yours, I would shorten the line from the driver's side valve cover enough to make it run straight across to the fender or put a fitting on it to make it angle straight down and run towards the abs module.

Here is after I installed the FSP breather/catch can. I'll get a better angle later.

i need to clean it up more... but he did me a favor by fixing it as much as he did... it was real bad before. technically the car is only there for a dyno tune but hes a good guy and did what he could in what little spare time he had

he said a few more small tweaks and its ready for pickup. thats what is great about EFX tuning. they will not give you your car back until it is perfect, some tunes in the past i have seen car makes great numbers yet has 0 drivability.

Dave, Butch and their team make sure the car makes great numbers and retains as close as possible to stock drivability

Okay so now here is my review of the procharger from install to tune and drivability

-install took me 8 hours
-Everything fits real well, nothing has to be hacked
-first startup car runs terrible, i mean terrible (untuned) I only had to move it out of my shop and onto my trailer (I had this planned though and was only putting it on my flatbed tow truck or my car trailer)
-my buddy tuned the car at his tuning/performance shop (i have a repair shop)
-picked the car up and WOW !

the car is extremely fast, probably going to be putting a drag radial on it because if you lay into it at any speed or gear it breaks loose (its also only about 50 degrees here currently)

retains stock drivability and idle until you lay into it

I didn't order my gauge pillar far enough in advance so right now have no boost gauge or AFR gauge so its kinda like driving blind

I would 100% do all these mods again, the car is so much fun to drive and sounds so nasty its insane !

So overall between the install, my #s and the drivability and power I would highly recommend the procharger !
