Now I HAVE seen some F1 cars getting into the mid to high 9s but.....not near as common or easy as the stock blower cars, believe it or not... But if you want to go faster then 9.60s, you HAVE to do a blower swap...and a converter, and a cam, and blah blah blah....

You know how it goes from there.

No doubt a procharger car will yank a stock blower car out on the highway tho....
Almost a never ending story.. Robert

From what I recall, we fixed my throttle programming so its 100% now, but my tuner figured it was belt slip at my last track day. Its going to a new tuner in a couple weeks so hopefully it gets fixed up, whether its belt slip or in the tune.
So I just found out it was the tune. I took it to Joe @Cordes performance and they got it all dialed in... I haven't taken it back out to the track yet but the car is a complete animal now on 17lbs of boost

What specifically in the tune was causing the issue? My car is going to a new tuner in a week and knowing what to look for would make things much easier.

Glad it’s sorted out now, make me wonder how many dyno tuned gen 5’s are at cars and coffee every week that do the same thing and owners have no idea. Quite a few threads on the tuning forums, fortunately, some of those Tuners are on this forum as well

Nice you have the advantage of the lighter car as well should maybe be even faster with 850rw!

Definitely not belt slip. New tune didnt fix the issue, and datalogging isn't showing anything obvious. Its holding timing, fuel pressures are good, doesn't look like its retarding anything, throttle is opening fully. Sending my tune file out this week to a bigger shop with more C7 experience to see if they can find anything.

Okay... SO I've learned a lot in the past few months... First off that a simple dyno number although great to have a high one doesn't alway equate to a good 1/4 mile time.... That being said Joe and his crew at CPR added a cam, converter, fore low side fuel system and Ethanol conversion to go along with the original F19A Procharger and meth that was done... I gotta tell ya I can notice a very big difference to go along with the
950 whp that it put out but the proof will be when it's not an inferno in AZ and we go to their track event in the fall with them to run it.....

Thanks for all the comments guys

What was the fix or outcome to losing 8# of boost from peak on dyno to the track?
