Default Wanna Go Fast Dallas - Results - Fastest M7 in the Country?

Hey everyone. Had a good weekend at the track with my new clutch and rear end setup. Big thanks to Late Model Racecraft for time and time again getting the car ready to roll. I chased 180 all weekend and I can assure you it has 180+ in it with a little bit more seat time.

I am pretty sure this is the fastest boost only manual C7 in the country in the half mile. I know there is a video of another c7 manual saying he went 180 but no video of the speed or a time slip, and he was on spray also

Anyway. Here is a little video to share and a time slip. Look out for a 185 at the next event I can assure you.

Impressive! How much do you think the gear swap helped you out?

Wow nice mph man! What does your M7 run in the 1/4 by chance? And I figure the car is making somewhere around 1100whp?

I have never ran it in the quarter and of course the 1/4 MPH wasn't working this weekend.

It was making around 1000 this weekend at 20psi. Maybe a tad more.

Congrats on the Great Run on the M7!!!! As a point of reference the AMP prepared SATIN black C7 with an A8 with about the same power ran a best of 186+ on Saturday. Rough rule of thump is the A8's are running 4-5 MPH faster than the M7's so EXCELLENT run!!!! I have always been a manual man myself so its good to see an M7 run that well. I am a VERY quick shifter but not as fast as an A8. LOL I would post the time slip up but the owner/driver of the car has it.

Thanks Man!

Yea those A8s move out man. It's sickening. I would argue they're faster than 4-5 if you have power for power, but oh well.

Yea I saw Charlie's car this weekend out here. He ran well.

I am a little frustrated because I know mine has 182-185 in it I just need to learn the new rear end and launch a bit. It's totally different at the line now with the taller gear and triple disc manic.

I want there to be a wanna go fast even every weekend now.... lol...4th gear is so much fun now. Just stab it into 4th and hold on.

You might play around with the AERO a little bit. I know Charlies car picked up 3-4 MPH by taking the winglets off the back spoiler.

Tim’s car already is a streamline dragonfly. No winglets or aero holding him back. Hes gonna do 185. As of right now I am pretty sure this is the world record for 1/2 mile M7 C7’s. As such, I award you this!! -

Well done brother!

hahaha.... Thanks Brother.

I do plan to maybe pull the front passenger seat the next event. It'll do 185.

Funny about weight and 1/2 mile, that doesnt seem to make much difference. If it did you could put DANICA "CRASH" PATRICK in your car and pick up another mile per hour or so but that would be assuming she could finish the race. Then assuming she had issues, it would be someone else's fault.

So close to 180 man! Congrats

That 4-5 shift still makes me sick in the half mile. The A8 i had previously was a lot of fun in the half, but daily driving the manual is just so much better (for me).
