Default Stock LT1 Injectors/Fuel System for Supercharged Motors?

I have asked 3 different tuners this question and have received 3 different answers, so maybe the answer is not that clear cut. That said I know many of you have done this mod before so what is the concensous.

I have a 2017 GS with Intake, 1 7/8 AR Headers, X Pipe, Hi Flow cats. Looking to keep it streetable. Do not want to run Meth or Fuel Additives. Goal is 590-620rwhp

Looking at Either a Procharger D1x or ECS Novi 1500.

Question is...will the Stock LT1 Fuel System and Injectors handle this upgrade without any problem?

I have the P1 @ 7lbs with headers and x pipe 577rwhp. Not going over this without adding meth

Thank you for the reply. Question, is that more of a safety precaution or has your tuner advised you of this? The reason I ask...one tuner said no problem at all...another said that would not even install it without an LT4 Injector upgrade.

600 at the wheel and under is fine for stock fuel system. no need for a d1x for the numbers you are looking for. procharger p1x is all you need.

What are the odds that 575 will keep you happy? Doubtful. Thats where the LT1 system is going to top out and I think that may be a lil generous. As in at that point its probably not to safe to go any higher. Why don’t you want to do injectors and a high pressure fuel pump? Now is the right time to do it. Get it done and be on your way..

OP here what is wrong with the meth just for the octane. As long as the car is tune for safety & NOT rwhp. You should be good. I am running meth with a 15 & going to put in a 10 on it also.

I got 55 gal drum of it now so going to use it up & then may look at something else like LT4 inj & pump also. Bump with a stock short block will hold it with the meth to just under 700 rwhp with a A/A TI & 3.4 pulley for now.. Robert

If fueling is a concern, try looking into secondary port injection. It's good stuff and a great alternative to running meth.

COST on this one buddy but again a great way to go also for sure. If going this way do a MSD plastic intake with the secondary inj ports in it..

If & when my motor goes this will be what I do & drop the meth for sure.Robert

Upgrading that setup to have a supercharger, you should increase you fueling without meth. At 600whp, you probably will run out of injector. And even if you can just barely scrape by, I wouldn't want to be at the max limit of my injectors all the time.

Install just the LT4 hpfp. You don't need the injectors. I just did the same upgrade and my lt4 pump supplies plenty of fuel, and didn't require a lash cap either.

so how far did just the LT4 high pressure pump take you?

Well my ECS+headers setup took me just over 600whp, and I didn't have any trouble with fueling. I won't be making more than that until next year so I don't know when the pump will max out yet.

The Lt1 injectors are good for over 700 rwhp. The kicker is you need a larger HPFP or more aggressive fuel pump lobe on the cam to feed the injectors.
