Cool, I sort of have the bug, too. Why is it taking so long to get it? What did you decide on the intercooler, vertical or horizontal? I am leaning towards horizontal.

Horizontal is only for 2014 models. So vertical it is, it really only matters after road racing for 6+ laps. A pretty unique use case.

procharger just takes a few weeks I guess. We will see in the end!

Yes, I looked into that but if you have an M7 there is no trans cooler up front so I am not sure why horizontal won't work. If I get serious I will have to pull the string on that further. I have 2016 M7 Z51.

We have the same car "Z51 M7 2016"

I never checked for the cooler. I think vertical will be just fine. The intercooler on these is pretty beefy either way, so drag-racing, autox, daily driving and road racing are all going to be fine either way I hear. (Other than there is a level of road racing that will get HOT, I doubt the horizontal is what is going to save you at that point though...)

Yeah, I got the "vanilla" edition with the included tune. Should be around 550 to the wheels.

I am also leaning towards the P1X in black option but with the stock inlet which appears to be an upcharge now, at least on one site I looked. So you started with the stock tune then went custom? Did you add other mods or just want to optimize your existing? I wonder how conservative the supplied tune is. Having a supplied tune for me is one of the big pluses for ProCharger vs the others. I was hoping that's all I'd need. Also curious about BOV options. For me quieter would be better.

I also see yours is a wet sump. It sounds awesome! I need to go back through the directions to ensure there are good instructions for dry sump PCV setup.

I did not get the P1X but I have the "standard loud gearset"

Though, I hope it isn't annoyingly loud or high pitched at idle..

reason i went with a custom tune was due to how it shifted. when i would come to a stop i could feel a 2 - 1 bump shift. car is completely stock ,except for the procharger. i did feel more power after the car was custom tuned. i am running the quiet blow off valve with the filter. contact bob at brute speed. best deal you will find. will need to call in for discounted pricing.

I am a manual manual guy but I’ve got to say automatic boosted C7 like yours banging off rapid fire redline shifts is damn sexy. Nuke please update us with your install. Gonna be a long 3 week wait.... for us too.

Once I got a custom tune, everything is running great.

I do have a slight oil smell in the cabin currently, I think my air pcv tubing might be loose or something. Will check in the spring (car is stored for now)

Got mine about 90% tuned and sounds like a similar to the vids at idle. On coastdown it has that high pitched jet engine sound.
