Default Guess the whp of my Z51...

What kind of power would you expect to see from the following mods on a z51:

Vengeance racing (Wiseco) Pistons
Vengeance racing Stage 3 Camshaft
Long Tube Headers (no cats)
Borla mid-pipe (no cats)
Procharger P1SC-1 @ 11PSI
Alkycontrol Meth (100%)
MSD Airforce Intake Manifold

I'd love to get to 1000whp, but I'm thinking that the P1SC-1 might need to be upgraded to a D1X, I'll probably need secondary fuel injectors and I'm not sure what else?

I think you are going to need something like a f1a94 or bigger to reach 1000. I bet you are in the750- 800 range. On my ecs kit with a 1500 blower it made 715 on 11psi with long tubes and meth. You have cam so that may put you 750ish depending on dyno.

I’ll wager 825 RWHP and 725 RWTQ.

Those are some good starting numbers. If I wanted to cheat I suppose I could drop another couple of pulley sizes to get near to 900whp and then nitrous the final 100hp.

My guess would be 700 to 750 on the high end. I don't think a p1sc can push enough air no matter how hard you twist it to hit 800rwhp. I had a hard time getting more than 600 on a ls2. Granted the LT1 will net much better results though. Now if we are talking D1X than 800rwhp can definitely be achieved.

Wait a sec I read the original post wrong. P1SC is the smaller blower, then it jumps to the D1, the to the F1’s. No way will you even break 750 in my opinion with the small blower. On a mid sized blower I put down 828. For 1000, you will need an upgrade no matter what pulley you try to use. You can only go so small on the pulley before you overspin it too far.

P1 won't break 800. Procharger calls max hp 825. But that's a perfect world, math equation, estimate. D1x is 1000 but I doubt it will break 900. Youre probably overspinning the **** out of a p1 to hit 800. Ouch IAT.

Yeah I just purchased the LT4 injectors and pump in the last couple of days as I want to get all this done right first time.

Ive also been offered a Procharger F1 (not F1A) for a good price, but im not sure if it will mount up to the P1SC bracket? The inlet and outlet hose diameters match, but procharger was website doesn’t give me any more info than that.

750 / 660 - 11 PSI with meth will make ~700 depending on the tune. The cam will give you 40-60. The P1 is the baby blower though as others have said. It'll make 11 psi but that at 7K I would imagine.

I'm getting 11PSI at 6300rpm with a 3.75" pulley right now. It is admittedly with an Airaid race filter (so not much filtering). I may step down to a 3.5" griptec pulley to see how that changes things before I move over to the F1. I rebuilt the P1 a few weeks ago with higher RPM bearings, so I should be able to spin it a little higher. The P1's impeller isn't that efficient though so I'm not expecting anything amazing.

Why not the D1? That would be a better blower for a drop in piston car. The F1 might be a little too much for a 11.5:1 situation.

The D1 is comparable to the 1500 or the T trim. I made 900+ wheel with the 1500 & 3.75 pulley and e50 and all the other supporting mods. I'd consider the D1.

I was originally thinking the new D1X. It's a newer version of the D1SC capable of hitting 1000hp according to Procharger. The only reason why the F1 came into the equation is that I could get a nearly new one for about 1/2 the price of a D1X.

ProCharger personally upgraded me from an F1A to F1A-94 to reach my goal of 1100 wheel. They said F1A wasn't enough. So not so sure a D1X would hit 1000. Unless you are referring to crank HP, which most don't.
