Recommendations for "how tight" the Procharger belt should be?
It's pretty tight but I didn't see anywhere in the documentation of how to set the correct tension of the Procharger F1A-94 belt. I upgraded to the Green HD belt same size and just planned on seeing if I have belt slip and go from there. But if anyone has some input that would be greatly appreciated!

How much belt deflection should there be? Just put my Procharger on this past week and I think I’m getting belt slippage when going WOT because I smell that rotten egg smell. I’m gonna throw a mechanical boost gauge on it tomorrow hopefully though and see what it’s really doing

Well I did have belt slip up top. Chris Crawford was able to point it out in my HP Tuner logs + it shows on Holley system as well. I tightened it pretty dang good the second time (didn't want to overdo it the first) and it's been solid as a rock for a month plus now! So all good!

Not at all, this was done per ProCharger recommendations. My F1A-94 is a beefy unit it's not going to hurt those bearings where I have it now. That's the least of my worries :-).

Ended up finding some info on how sufficient belt tension is discovered. Basically there is an old school way of determining the correct tension. You take the longest span of the drive belt and in the middle of the pulleys you grab the belt between your index and thumb and try to to twist it 90 degree if you are able to twist it 90 degrees or more the belt is NOT tight enough. If you’re barely able to twist it at all you’re way too tight. ProCharger’s marks on the tensioner mirror this test perfectly, at least in my case
