Default JTM Motorsports C7Z F1a94 8.9's on 18" DR's video

After so much success at the 1700ft Roll Racing events with SlipStream Racing at Pocono Raceway in Pa last month, and the success he has had on the streets with his car, Our good friend/Customer Dave4359 decided he wanted to take the car to the Drag strip again so we can make a few 1/4 mile hits and see what his set up can accomplish in the 1/4 mile.. Although the setup was dialed in and running awesome, we decided to make a couple of minor changes on his car before taking it to the track to optimize his set up, and man did it work out!!!

The car originally came to our shop with previously installed:
ProCharger F1a94
Custom Cam
Low side Fuel System
Alky Control Meth Kit
ARH 2” non catted headers
and baselined at 798rwhp(on our Mustang Chassis Dyno) on 17.5 pounds of boost, after a new Transmission Tune and a few minor adjustments in the tune we ended up at 820 rwhp.. A few weeks later, after some successful street runs, we decided to change the blower pulley and add a couple pounds of boost we ended up at 20 pounds of boost and 889 rwhp.. This was the power level that Dave won the King of the streets Roll race event at Pocono! For the drag strip we decided to install an LME Billet Intake and our Custom Pro Charger F1 5” Air Intake with custom fan shroud and spal Fan set up.. let’s just say the changes made a huge difference!! We picked up 59 rwhp and 13 rwtq with the LME intake manifold and standard procharger air intake(which exits to the left). When we swapped over to our F1 5” Air Intake we picked up another 69rwhp 46rwt and 4 pounds of Boost!!! I’ve attached the dyno graphs and some pics and videos! The results speak for themselves an 8 second time slip and this car trapped 157!! All on an 18” drag radial!!

First Graph: shows the gains between the Procharger intake vs the LME intake. This test was performed with the standard ProCharger 180° intake and filter: We gained 59RWHP and 13rwtq and where the Procharger Intake would fall off after about 6300 RPM The LME intake carried power out till about 6700 RPM.

Second graph : Shows the gains we made from switching from ProChargers 4 inch 180° intake and filter to our 5inch intake and filter!! We picked up 3.5 pounds of boost and 69 rwhp & 46 rwtq!! And it seemed it wanted to keep making power!!!

Third Graph Shows all three test compared.

Launching on those 18" Mickey Thompson DR's!!

Please excuse the rough finish of our 5inch intake this is our Prototype Model a new Powder Coated Intake was installed on Dave's car after testing was complete:

Jesus I am more impressed with the 5" F1R intake adding that much more power! The LME intake is super nice but $$, so power to $$ isn't as impressive. But holy hell impressive 60' on 18's!! That's giving me some confidence to hit mid-9's hopefully on my M7 and 18 ET Streets.
