It's about the only tire anyone talks about on here. Are they that good vs everything else?

I'm running Pilot sport 4S's in factory Z51 sizes. Through a 7 speed and a A&A V3 Si on 3.8" pulley I made 617/575 SAE on a DynoJet and have no issues putting power down from 2nd gear on.

I like sharing this video to highlight that. This is 40* outside and completely done in 2nd gear.

I have trouble putting power down on widebody sized tires with stock power. Add more gas earlier in the turn. You'll see.... No offense, but you add power super late. You're basically out of the turn and straightened out when you add heavy gas in what I saw.

us widebody folks don't have many tire options.
SC2
NT01
R888R
and maybe a few "aggressive" daily driver tires like PSS/PS4/Dunlops

A&A V7-YSi at about 650hp and my PSS are no good in 1st 2nd or 3rd gear if I punch it above 3k. I have to do at least a 50 roll...lol. Thought about the same thing. I love the PSS and for daily/street, I will buy nothing else. If it were me I would do what a lot do and get a set of each at least for the rear.

Really??

Like I posted above I roast them pretty easily above 3k. Below that the V-7 is barely waking up. IDK my hp is only a calculative estimate....

He's saying 2nd gear- no spin, I'm saying 2nd gear plenty of spin
You're saying 3k rpm lots of spin and somehow disagreeing with me.

Eh, good enough for fastest of the day by 0.7xx margin that day. The point was though that even on power late there is no problem in the car maintaining traction on these tires at my power level. If I had videos from the street I would use that instead but I don't.
