Most of 'em look pretty bad.

If nothing else, it gives us a little insight into just how hard it is to come up with a suitable new design for America's Sports Car . . . and to any of those who say, "Yeah, sure it's tough - but I could do better than these!"

Talk is cheap. Let's see 'em!

Some of our more talented members have already done so, both in 2D and 3D renderings . . . but there's plenty of room for more.

Don't care if nobody else likes 'em, I like 'em. Here's another:

I thought I was headed in another direction with this one, until one of my sons said over my shoulder,"Where's the prancing horse?". Oh, well, I guess that's a back-handed compliment if you dig deep enough. My rules for these drawings are few: Try something different each time, and don't take more than fifteen minutes to finish the whole thing. If this thread bothers anyone, just don't look at it!

Man you are by far better than me at this paint program. I hope you dont mind but I took your drawing and worked at it from there and tried to make it look more like a corvette.

You guys can definately do more with paint than me. Ignore the haters, they're still trying to get finger paints figured out.

Thanx man, the haters dont bother me, in fact they encourage me to get back to the drawing board and come up with something better.

My final redesign of fyreline's sketch, I think it now looks like a cross between a C3 and a FORD GT:

Side view, I took this sketch of the FORD GT and made it look more like a corvette:

Come on GM you gave us supercar performance, now give us a supercar design.

profile looks ok. rear quarter looks good, but maybe too much like the ford gt. front end is nasty. too much c4. needs to be more modern.

If thats what the C7 would look like i would look else where for a new car. But if you like it its all good, not for me. Looks very old.

I know it was meant to be, its a retro look for the vette, just like they are doing with the new CAMARO.

IMHO if they really would do a retro vette C3 style then I will be the first in line for a C7.

The Intardwebs makes people so very willing to be real ******... one has to wonder if all these "don't mean to be rude" wanna-be comedians would be so mouthy in person...

The guy made some sketches... if you dont like it say "I dont like it" - instead of using the anonymous Interwebs as a tool to allow everyone to act like spoiled 5 year olds.

*shrug*
