Default C7 on hold according to Motor Trend

According to an article in Motor Trend, the new C7 is on hold along with the RWD Impala. Apparently due to the impending CAFE standard increase. The source is said to be "well placed". Let's hope not!

Interesting, thanks for sharing, since I have a new C6 I must admit at this time it does not create any concern on my part. I know poor attitude!

I plan to replace my current C6 in another 3 years. I would be perfectly happy with another C6. We shall see.

I'll wait until I hear this direct from the horse's mouth, or in this case the general's.

Until then I just think MT and all the other car mags scream 'the sky is falling' a little too easily.

It does however sound like the 70's all over again and that isn't very comforting.

Changing this ever so slightly.............

"When they came first for the three wheeler ATCs, I didn’t speak up because I didn't own one;
And then they came for the two stroke engines, And I didn’t speak up because I didn't own one;
And then they came for the SUVs, And I didn’t speak up because I didn't own one;
And then . . . they came for sports cars . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up."
