hindsight, next time get a pic of the serial number, the only ZR1 I have been close to was on Bell Isle during Indy weekend, inside the Corvette Corral Hospitality tent and the serial number was 00001. I took a nice closeup of the serial number.

Do you know how many miles were on it? I am curious to see how high the mileage is getting on the mules.

It never even occured to me to either get a pic of the VIN or the odometer. I'm curious as to what the VIN would have been! Bird poop or not, I just thought it was pretty cool just to have the opportunity to see a ZR-1 prototype up close prior to the production cars were available! I was very unprepared at the time we saw this ZR-1 but just glad I had the camera with me. Later, I had thought of a whole lot of questions that I should have asked! Hindsight! I just wished I had invited the driver to bring the car around the corner to my house. I would have hosed it off for him...... before I took the pictures!

I was just INSIDE the GM Proving Grounds. I saw a few beasts there, no pictures, sorry. Always neat to see the workout vehicles (all of em) get before they end up in the hands of the public.
