That design doesn't look to bad, kind of a C3 retro though, not a big fan of the retro look.

I maybe assembled in America but made with part from all over the world.
Probably, but it's American more of it more likely to be made here than somewhere else, and it's more likely the profits go to Americans as well.

Anyways, there's also the symbolic value. I would much sooner fly an American flag made in China than a Chinese flag made in America

I was just about to say that.
I like the streamlined look of the hidden headlights on the C3, C4, and C5, but when the headlights are flipped up the car looks kinda goofy. I was not a fan of the exposed headlights on the C6 at first, but I immediately became one as soon as I saw a C4 at night.

Pop up headlights?

How does those anymore? They looked cool on the c5 for time, but putting pop up headlights on the C7 wouldn't make it look as modern because you don't see them anymore.

Keep the headlights flush. It looks sleeker and it's better for aero.

I agree the c6 headlights are the

UGLIEST

of almost any car on the planet. Have you seen the c5 exposed headlight kits that were first available by the aftermarket ?? They look almost exactly the same. very very cheap and low tech looking with 3 bulbs in a smooth housing. how cheap can they get?? look inside any other expensive car headlight and you will cry when you look at the c6 headlight. the 1997 mirrors and the FUGLY headlights are the 2 reasons I would not and will probably Never buy a c6.

I think there OK but you should check out my new website I just created.

I have several pictures of a seldom seen before Corvette Concept. The headlights look similar to that of the stingray lll They have a sleek, wild aggressive look to them.

Looks Much better than the C6

Check out my site http://corvetteconcept.com

I don't mind the pop up light on my C5, but on a new car they would look VERY dated. When I see pop up lights I immediately think 80's or 90's, not modern tech.

But the 1920 Model T had exposed headlights, NO popups.

i think its a signature to vettes to have the headlights hide and then appear once turned on. I am against flip ups tho as well. I wonder if its possible to have the best of both worlds, and have a cover that slides up and down, exposing and sealing over the headlights. That pic of the car with the LED lights would be easy to have an automated little strip or 2 that move out of the way to expose the headlights. Just and idea to keep the vetter aerodynamic, and still back to its heritage of looking different at day than night.

I love how it looks now. Pop ups are cool but they must crap out eventually. I think the headlights on the C6 look mean.

Exactly! Why should GM try to expand their market?? They are doing just fine.

Pop up headlight on the next gen Vette? That would go sweet with my new bell bottom jeans & platform shoes!

From the article where the picture is posted;
The innovative R8 supercar from Audi is now available for the first time with full LED headlamps. In addition to the standard Audi-signature 24-LED running lamps it's always had, this extremely expensive option (£3,590 converts to $7,100 USD) adds LED high and low beam headlamps and LED turn signals to the front fascia of the mid-engine sports car.
