What are the chances of a HARDTOP convertible for the C7?

A C7 hardtop convertible would be a great answer to the Ferrari "California"

Slim to none. Your weight distribution is going to be off while either in the up or down (most likely down) position, especially in a light weight car. The California (3800+lbs), BMW Z4 (3494lbs) and other hard top convertible cars are pretty heavy for their size so the hard top shifting to the rear doesn't make too much of a difference. Some cadillac XLR owners have noticed a handling difference when the top is lowered on the car.
