QUOTE=SSphantom;1573950871]I think GM has a lot of options with the C7.

It's going to build on the C6 platform, so all of the R&D and major costs associated with the C7 have already been realized. Thus, most of the costs of a completely new platform don't need to be absorbed by the customer. Therefore, we should be able to get a lot more at roughly the same price.

There's no reason why GM can't give the Vette a better interior, seats, fuel efficiency, stock tires, brakes, suspension, more power, etc.

The C6 platform is still the best RWD, front engine sports car chassis in the world. I'm perfectly fine with GM reusing it, because it's that good.

It's time to tweak, enhance, and refine all of the little things.

A 750 horsepower LS9 engine ? Thats wonderful !! The more hp, the better. I hope that the Super Corvette with the 750hp engine will have a top speed of over 220mph ! The asking price of the Super Corvette is expensive, but reasonable, and the car is worth every cent it costs. My words to GM: Produce it, produce it, PRODUCE IT !!!

Hey, this 750hp Super Corvette really beats my Jada 1/18 scale blue 2009 Corvette ZR1. I still want and appreciate my 2009 ZR1 scale model, however.

There is a car that the 750hp Super Corvette cannot beat, however. It is the GRX, from the 1960s Speed Racer series. The GRX eats the Super Corvette alive ! Yes, I also own the GRX, in 2007 Johnny Lightning 1/64 scale, normal version and White Lightning chase car.

Even if it doesnt beat the GRX, I hope that the 750hp Super Corvette gets produced.

Agreed !! An automatic has no place in a Z06.

Equally incredible, a few 1969 L88s came from the factory with an automatic. An L88 is a race-only car, so why the heck did they have to build some with an automatic ? Beats me !
