my very first thought was that an XLR ran into the front of it. i hate it.

the back is Ferarri-ish to me.

I like it, and it is probably much more refined than a C6. The seats appear to feel betterIt more than likely has 2 push to start buttons(the C6 guys will be jealous)any word on what size the engine is?

From the back it looks pretty awesome...but the front is a lot worse than the C5s or C6s for that matter...Those headlights dont look right

GM comes up with wild designs most of the time the C-6
is a exception. Think of the differences in body styles
between the C-1 and C-2 and C2 to C-3 the C-4 and C-5.
The vette that will come out next will make the C-5 look old.
It's OK by me I love the C-2 and C-5 the best. But I love
Corvettes in general.

I will my wife knows to bury me in this car. I'm fortunate to be able to afford most cars out their and this one to me is best.13 year old design
and still the best looking car on the road with maybe the exception of a couple Ferraris.

Well......we always upgrade eventually, but maybe I will hold on to the C5 for a long, long time. GM is apparently borrowing from others to recreate it's future look. I call that plagiarism and I can't tell you how many times I almost got caught doing that in college. They got caught and I hope they get at least three days suspension. There are parts of it I really like and I bet the technology is terrific. Just go with a more traditional front end and bring back the "flip headlights" then go to confession and ask forgiveness.

The C6 didn't go over big in styling so we needed the C7 to really look great and they ****ED it up ..On a side note the Ferrari F-70 looks insane !!
Why couldnt Corvette get it right this time , Like in 97
That's funny, I have a May 2010 copy of Motor Trend in my hand now (just came to my house yesterday), and there is no mention of the Corvette. What month Motor Trend are you looking at; are you sure it's Motor Trend?

PS: I actually like the pic tonylukes3 posted. Except for the wide-mouth bass grill...

Yikes! The shape of the rear looks real Pontiac-ish.

Those are artist renderings. They look terrible, but then again, they ALWAYS do. And they ALWAYS look different from the actual car coming out. I do not put any credit in those since they have yet to be accurate aside from having 4 wheels and 2 doors.

I don't like the lights in the rear that much or the little "inlets that are back there, but I like the rest of it. I'll get one. by 2013 my C5 may be ready to be traded in.
