No, it's very clearly a take on the C6. Look at all of the styling elements on the door. Notice the style of the taillamps. Notice the painted-on outer vents in the front bumper. Compare to the C6R. It's C6, period.

Why do you need to race in Grand Am to buy the kit parts?

Wonder if they made it look somewhat like the C6 and C7

We will see some similarities I am sure, but the C7 will also share similarities with C4s, C5s, and C6s too. They chose the best color. ;-)

I think this may be pretty close to what we'll see. I mean two images in two days, and let's face it the sharper nose descent is there, the flatter and longer shape of the rear quarters. And, if you look at the lines of the rear hatch area, they are almost identical save the tender has some fiberglass and the concept is all black plexiglass.
None

I won't be surprised to see similar head- and tail-lights on the C7, at least....

O Lord, please let GM build this as the C7...and Lord, please let it be under $70,000. And finally Lord, thank you for making it in LeMans Blue!

not sure where the heck it was but they have a pdf with various racecars specs and costs - the dp vette was available in a street configuration... have yet to see any photos of one though
