Would you buy it?

Not that. If it looks like the Jalopnik drawings, sign me up.

Melting Slicks
If there are significant differences in the C7 vs the C6, I might consider getting a new C7. If the HP and styling are close to the C6, I think I will keep the C6 that is paid for and just enjoy the car.

People actually talk about this picture still?

Is this the rendering where the rear end looks like a caddy? Front view - Not Bad, Side View- Maybe a bit much but as others have already stated the Spy Photos of the C7 don't seem to show a car much different than the C6.

Safety Car
LoL I love all the people talking about the spy photos. The spy photos don't really show much. It is completely impossible to get a good idea of how the car will look in finished form. Even the Jalopnik is a rendering and probably doesn't do the actual car justice. All we do know is that its shape is relatively similar to the C6...OK if you put a bunch of camouflage crap all over a Corvette from every model year and put them out there you would probably be shocked at how close some models look. Now park them in finished form and they look relatively different. We don't need a Corvette that looks like A Ferrari. We need a new Corvette that looks like a NEW CORVETTE, has more power, better efficiency, and upgraded fit and finish. I believe the C7 will deliver or improve each of those categories. Porsche doesn't reinvent the wheel with each new model and Corvette would be wise to do the same.

This drawing to me looks like a mid-engine vette rendering.
And we know that ain't happening.
