Yeah man, they should be building these at a loss if they were real car guys

The concept cars are a chance for them to show what they could do, and some technology does make it into production. They have to make something that will fit the price point though.

I knew it, Porsche 'were real car guys', then after all.
They lost huge money on every 959 they sold.
Though it did pave the way for 4 wheel drive in their later production models.
I doubt the C7 will be as innovative.

959 was an awesome car I agree. Certainly a rare exception they could parley into the rest of the line like you said. I'm probably going to keep my C5 and get a 911 when it's time to replace it. I love Corvettes and Porsches, might as well own both. Will have to see what the C7 offers.

Did they just build them at a loss because they needed to homologate for racing?
